O&B boutique hotel in Athens is in an excellent location with regards to access to all major sights. We were easily able to walk to the Acropolis and the new museum as well as Syntagma Square and the surrounds. Close to the bus and train station and also the hop-on hop-off bus stop. There is a huge selection of excellent restaurants and take aways within walking distance also. The hotel itself is lovely inside. Our room (family room with 2 adults 2 children) was very nice, but not huge (and the small balcony only overlooked graffiti and the backs of buildings). The 2 beds for the kids did not leave much room to move around, but we managed fine, and the bathroom was quite spacious. The staff made the stay even more special. Pavlos at the front desk, who we mostly dealt with, was so friendly and helpful, always asking us how our days was or wishing us a good day. He gave us lots of suggestions and advice on how to get around. The staff at breakfast were also very lovely and attentive and the welcome tray with drinks and treats was a nice touch. We really enjoyed our stay there and would not hesitate to recommend it to anyone.

We stayed at O&B twice recently, bookends of a weeklong cruise. EVERYTHING about it is exquisite. It is full service, beautifully appointed, extremely clean, and we fell in love with the staff. Would go back to Athens just to stay there!

Room Tip: We were on the back of the hotel so it was very quiet.

Location: walking distance to Acropolis. The Psirri neighborhood has quite a few restaurants and bars that are less touristy than Plaka, and the hotel is just a few blocks away.
Rooms are nice and clean; not overly luxurious. Our balcony was quite large, and had a fantastic view of the Acropolis.
Staff was very nice, professional, and helpful with giving directions and restaurant recommendations.
Value: solid value for the location and hotel amenities. Not overly luxurious, but the price reflects that. I would definitely recommend this hotel.

The O & B is an excellent little hotel conveniently located within walking distance of the Acropolis, Agora and other major sites. The staff is friendly and helpful. The rooms are comfortable and nicely appointed. The buffet breakfast was outstanding. There are many very good restaurants within easy walking distance and the hotel staff is more than helpful with recommendations and reservations.

The night club across the street can get a little noisy at night but we actually opened the window an enjoyed the pulse of the city at night. If we closed the window and shutters we could barely hear the music and they stopped playing at about 11 PM.

You can spend a lot more money in Athens, but you won't find a nicer hotel. I will definitely stay here again.

If you are looking for a hotel that is both stylish and well-located for a quick visit to Athens then look no further. The hotel arranged a pick up from the airport and from then until the end of our stay they looked after us so well. It is conveniently situated for all the main sites and the hotel will recommend local places to eat within walking distance. The breakfasts are excellent and the young staff so polite and helpful. The views from the window are not great and we were not impressed by the look of the side street on which it is situated when we first arrived. However, this is hardly the fault of the hotel and we soon became acclimatised to the local colour of the city and felt perfectly safe at all times. I can't think that you would find better in the price range. Thank you to previous reviewers as we booked on the strength of your reviews and were not disappointed.

Staff: Pavlos, Maria, Dimitris, Elvis are all great people there and I took many suggestions to go round. They are friendly, helpful, and polite, even they remembered that I need a kettle. I also appreciated the attitude of the staff in the restaurant and I had great breakfast dinner there.

Location: O&B is close to everything, Acropolis, Thisso line, the main street, and this was excellent.

Price: Reasonable I think.

Room: The room is clean, and size is ok. They arranged a baby cot for us which is quite comfortable and my son slept very well.

One thing I don't like is that my room is near the road, so some noise from vehicles and also some people were having party during the night.

Room Tip: Enjoy a dinner in that hotel please

A super stay in a well reviewed hotel. We booked this hotel based on the glowing reviews on Trip Adviser and we were not disappointed. After a 8 day cruise we wanted a hotel that was centrally located near the Acropolis and walking distance to other sites in Greece. We were leaving the following morning and wanted to see a bit of Athens before leaving.

Upon first sight, the location was a bit sketchy (spay paint is all over Athens). Once inside, we were greeted by an informative clerk who was eager to get us settled into our room. The fact that we were 4 hours early didn't seem to bother them as they were happy to offer is a clean room and an upgrade from our reservation. The lobby was clean and the over all look of the hotel was trendy and hip. A nice bar and dining room as well as an elevator made our first few minutes a pleasure.

Once in our room we knew we had chosen the right hotel. Big, bright and cool (great ICE COLD Air Conditioning) this suite offered a large bed (for big Americans), a large marble bath with shower and a huge patio on the 3rd floor. The patio looked out over the city and the wonders of Athens.

Five minutes into our unpacking, a knock at the door was unexpected. It was one of the staff with a welcome tray of fresh orange juice, a sweet orange candy, a few pieces of the most Delicious orange cake and a foreign substance (white gum product). All it was amazing.

Wow, what a great first impression. Bravo...

The Bed is hard and not very comfortable, i would recommend a mattress pad as it seems to be an issue with other travelers. The rest of the hotel is amazing.

Don't judge a book by its cover. The neighborhood is not great and walking at night gave my wife a bit of a heart attack... but we were OK and as it was only for a night; we considered this stay a 5 star experience.

The breakfast in the morning was amazing with 20 plus items to choose from. Eggs, wonderful Greek yogurts, jams, breads, cakes, juices and more. Bravo O&B. we will recommend this to all our friends. The internet was included for all of our devices and that too was welcomed.

I cant say enough about this one day experience. Great Job O&B... Great Job..
