A short walk from Victoria Station (not far from the centre of Athens) we found an absolute haven of tranquillity. As always we consulted Tripadvisor and found that the Centrotel was highly recommended by most of the visitors who had stayed there. We were met by courteous and friendly staff and the room despite being over the main entrance was extremely quite. Traffic outside the hotel was minimal and could not be heard. (quiet street).

Our room was well equipped with everything we needed. The bathroom was a delight compared to other Greek bathrooms we have used. The ceiling was equipped with mood lighting which changed colour quite often and was easily switched off from a switch on the headboard.

Bed comfortable - all in all an excellent hotel at an excellent price! Don't look any further when you are staying in Athens!

Centrotel isn't in the center of Athens, but it's only a few minutes walk from the nearest metro station, which can get you to most of the tourist attractions in the city. There are lots of neat bakeries nearby as well, which meant delicious breakfasts! Since it's not in the center of the city, things are a bit more spacious and quieter as well, which is nice. Overall, a great place to stay.

Would stay here again. Staff is very friendly and helpful. Rooms had all necessary amenities we needed for a comfortable stay. The hotel is near Victoria Square but go to Market Square for restaurants and shopping (the area is cleaner and much nicer). Enjoy Greece!

Amazing value for money - a modern spotlessly clean hotel with a beautiful entrance area. My room was spacious, and the shower room was top quality. If you want a bath make sure you ask for it when you book, as I was hoping for one and they are had all been booked up. The staff were very friendly, and showed you up to your room. Easy walking distance of the train station and the underground station. There wasn't many bars or restaurants in the area, but public transport was simple, and it wasn't too far to walk into the centre of the city either.

My wife and I stayed in Athens recently (29 - 31st July) and we were really impressed with this hotel. We got a great deal through Trip Advisor and the room surpassed all our expectations for the price. There was even a 'jacuzzi' style bath! We had a balcony too which was a lovely place for breakfast (not included in price). As we walked to the hotel from the Metro we were slightly apprehensive as it is located in a slightly rough looking street north of the city centre. However, the hotel's exterior put our minds at rest and the stay was great. The hotel is a short journey on the Metro to the Acropolis etc. I heartily recommend this hotel.

I have been in Centrotel for 1 night.
Excellent staff, they will assist you in a professional way. They know what tourists want. Rooms are very good for the money paid, they have Jacuzzi bath tubs in the rooms!! We arrived early and they let us stay in another room to rest, until we could took ours.
They are located 5 blocks from Victoria Sq. Metro station, that is to say a 5 blocks walk plus 10 to 15 minutes subway from all the popular places in Athens.

From what I know, is best for the money (not only in Greece).
