We were surprised that this hotel was not more expensive. We had a lovely room on the fifth floor, fortunately there's a lift, which gave us the most amazing views over Athens. At night it was quite magical sitting on the balcony, looking out over the city.

The hotel was just yards from Larissa Station, the Metro and the trolley bus stop so it was very convenient for transport to the centre of Athens, to Piraeus and to the rest of Greece. We'd read negative reports about the area but didn't find any cause for concern, even late at night. We had a very nice, reasonably priced meal at a friendly restaurant a short walking distance away, and there were bars nearby.

The staff at the hotel were friendly and helpful, and made us feel welcome. The owner was happy to store our cases until our flight home in the evening.

very cheap hotel, near to main railway station and also Metro Station Larissa. You can bargain about room price. Good to stay, neat and clean rooms.

This hotel is a decent choice if you need a place to stay before catching the train. Could also be ok if you're looking for a cheaper alternative to staying in the Plaka area. The rooms are clean but a bit run down. The bathroom was in worse shape than the rest of the room. There was no shower door or curtain. On the upside, the hotel is about 200m to the train and metro station. Breakfast was basic: cereal, bread and some cakes with coffee, tea and milk. The neighborhood is kind of shady. We didn't see anything frightening but the streets are not well lit and we didn't feel completely comfortable walking around after dark.
