Located in a very accessible part of Athens is the Acropolis Museum Boutique Hotel. My partner and I visited Athens for a short, off-season holiday, we were delighted to arrive at our charming hotel. We arrived later in the evening by bus due to an issue with the metro and were glad to find reception 24hr manned. Not only manned but with a very polite and helpful receptionist. Its also noteworthy to mention that when the metro is running correctly it is very easy to use and the Akropolis station is a short 5 min walk from the hotel. The room itself is big enough and comfortable for a pair, not sure for a family though. The bathroom is clean and the shower had responsive hot water which is always a bonus. Breakfast here is excellent so if its included, great! If it isn't its a great option! Enjoy your stay.

The location of this hotel is great. I would recommend to couples as rooms are small. We stayed in a double room with 2 small children and it was a bit crowded. My mother stayed in a single room and was very small... But I guess it is Europe.
Service and food great as well.

(+)Great spot to discover Athens, very convenient and close to the metro station. in the centre of Athens but amazingly quiet! Clean hotel, comfortable beds, nice baroque style decorated rooms (I guess because we stayed at the most minimalistic one..). (-) WiFi was not working very well. Breakfast was in an semi-underground level, but its all about point of view. Like an Almodovar movie..

Room Tip: Well sometimes the baroque style can be very "heavy" so ask for a more minimalistic design...

This hotel was a real bonus. It is situated close to the main sights and although on a main road this did not affect the stay or sleep. There are some very good restaurants within a few hundred metres, Manh Manh a, Belpaese and The Yard. The room, and indeed, the whole hotel was well kept and very clean with a large and very comfortable bed. Breakfast was very good and there was plenty to eat. Our afternoon/ evening receptionist could not do enough for us and was very interesting to talk to, that helped make for a very enjoyable and relaxing stay. Only criticism was that I could not get wifi to work. Good value for money.

Nice staff, good location, but the rooms are stuffy and loud, you hear neighbors showering, bathroom was not very clean - mould on the tiles and old cloths. WIFI not very fast, breakfast was OK. No international channels on TV.

That is the very right hotel if you are looking for good service/price ratio. My husband and I spent 5 days there in January 2014 and it's really a nice place to return into after a long sightseeing day. Pluses: sincere hospitality, good buffet breakfast with fresh orange juice, two minutes walk to the metro and tram station (and if you take a tram it's 15 minutes to the beach:), close to the taverns and bars of Plaka, guards change on the Syntagma Square and ...(unexpected!) Acropolis.

We are reasonably hardy travelers but we felt the hotel was essentially a backpackers hotel standard.

The room we stayed in was small and the toilet was poorly equipped and small. The towels looked like they have been used for the past 15 years. Thin and slightly discoloured.

We felt that with the money spent, we could get a better hotel nearer to the part of old Athens - near the Parliament area.

And for food, you would have to walk a fair bit.

Breakfast is in the basement of what used to be a bar. It was rather claustrophobic.

Though we paid for 3 nights, we checked out after the first day and moved to NJV.

Room Tip: If you absolutely had to stay here, pick a room on a high floor facing the main road. Cos the rear r...
