“Simply the best!”
Reviewed 10 September 2010

I simply love this hotel! The staff are always friendly and helpful. They are always on hand to give you advice on the best things to see and do around town. They all speak well English and I found it very easy to communicate with them. The location of the hotel is perfect. Just minutes walk from the metro which gets you into any part of town. It is also a quick walk to the tram which is how we were getting to and from the beaches in Athens - a must! Not to mention just minutes walk to the Acropolis and the new Museum - both musts! The rooms have all the amenities one would need, plus more! Flat screen TVs, fridges, aircon and wireless internet. They all are comfortably set out and very stylish! The comfort of the guest was very well thought out here..the beds are the best I've EVER slept in! I wanted to take one home with me! The one thing that made me want to get out of bed in the mornings was the delicious breakfast they serve. From traditional spinach and cheese pies to omelets, pastries, fresh fruit...the list goes on!

In short, if your looking for a great place to stay in Athens with a friendly atmosphere, great location and a great nights sleep, then look no further!!

A big thank you to all the staff at Acropolis Museum Boutique Hotel from Sydney Australia! We had a lovely stay and we will be back for sure!!

Be warned - travelling in Athens is taxing. So to walk in to the beautiful, elegant Acropolis Museum Hotel after a hot day is wonderful. We were greeted warmly and allowed to store our bags until our room was ready, as we were a touch early. This was no hardship, as the lobby is comfortable and has free internet (which actually goes - this is rare). The room was spectacular. I particulalry enjoyed the bed, which is a 'cocomat' bed. New for me but entirely welcome. Breakfast was good and we appreciated the late check out. The staff were fantastic. Thank you, Acropolis Museum Hotel - you made our stay amazing :)

Steps from the Acropolis, and Temple of Zeus. Metro stop 1.5 blocks away, direct to Airposr - 6 Euros - or the ferry port at Pireaus - 2 Euros.

The hotel is well located, being very close to the Acropolis museum and the Acropolis itself. The rooms are very comfortable, and most importantly, have air conditioning which works and provides a relief from the hot Athens days. The free internet in the lobby works well and there is also free wireless internet in the rooms. The reception staff are very helpful in all repects. Best not to be too late to have breakfast as the food supply can reduce. Overall, it is very good value for money.

The hotel was nice and very clean, the room had character and the reception had a nice area to spend some time if you needed to as we did before our ferry. There are computers with internet in the lobby and the breakfasts are definitely substantial and very very good. The location was good, though slightly off the center which was nice in a way, within walking distance to the museum and acropolis, etc. The only real negative was the water was cut off while we were staying there - apparently a problem in the neighborhood and not something our hotel could control. It would have been nice, however, if they had done a little more to provide us with some water. We were able to get a glass of water from the kitchen downstairs, but we were surprised they didn't do more for the guests. All in all, it was good experience, though potentially service could have been better.

I traveled to Athens in May/June 2010 and stayed at the Acropolis Museum Boutique Hotel with 2 friends. We took the train from the airport and the Acropolis stop was about a 5-10 minute walk to the hotel, so very convenient. When we arrived it was early in the morning and our room was not ready, but we were able to change and store our luggage. Our room was very big and clean, nice size bathroom and air conditioning. Within walking distance to the Acropolis, Temple of Zeus, shops and restaurants. Very close to a hop on/hop off bus stop and public transportation in general. Nice staff and breakfast. A little pricey but worth it for the location.

Just returned from a trip to Greece. While in Athens, we stayed at the Acropolis Museum Boutique Hotel. It was absolutely beautiful. Elegant furnishings and very clean and quiet. The location is unbelievable! So close to the Acropolis Museum, the Acropolis (itself), Hadrian's Gate and the Plaka. I would say that it is less than a 10 minute walk to all those attractions. We were thrilled . The staff is very friendly and helpful. The complimentary breakfast is fabulous. Eggs, croissants, crepes, pastries, freshly squeezed orange juice, coffee, tea, fruit, sausages, bread, toast. We were pleasantly surprised! The Acropolis Museum Boutique Hotel is an amazing deal and a beautiful place to stay. I would definitely stay there again!
