“A great piece of history”
Reviewed 22 September 2012

It must be one of the wonders of the world, but do take a guide, it makes such a great difference. We have visited many famous historical places but the Museum of the Acropolis will remain very special in our minds

“Fantastic”
Reviewed 22 September 2012

Very cleverly designed museum with many of the remaining stylae from the Acropolis reassembled within view of the Acropolis itself.. So you can almost re-construct in your mind the amazing edifice as it once stood. Great video on the architecture as well that I might recommend seeing before you head up to the Acropolis proper..

Also - don't miss the museum cafe. Very tasty food!

“Affordable & Interactive Museum”
Reviewed 21 September 2012

Loved that many of the information signs were in English. Museum was designed to mimic the Acropolis - loved the windows in the floor to view the excavation below - in future this area will be open to the public. Museum was interactive - with open library. Restaurant was very affordable and food was good. Disappointed that you are not allowed to take any photos or video during your visit. Tons of artifacts - spent 1/2 the day viewing the exhibits and still did not manage to read all the information.
