We found this when looking for another restaurant. Ate on the roof-top with nice night views of the city and the Acropolis. Food was very good, we both had lamb dishes which we really liked. Live music was downstairs, but they had it piped up so we could hear it on the roof but not overwhelming conversation. Pretty romantic, I thought.

Hidden right top the hill of Plaka, you got to be very specific to find directions to this gem. Its on the way to the Tower of Winds, and you'll be plased to find, this place serves great seafood. We almost missed it, only to have the restaurant manager mumbling in an audible voice " Psaras is here, Psaras is here ".
We've been recommended by our guide, that this place serves great seafood, and it wasnt to our disappointment. We ordered a stuffed squid and a seafood rice. Absolutely made our day, on a hot sunny afternoon. Its a cosy feel sitting there at the top of the hill, the only pity is that the waiter look flustered whn there were increasing customers. Not exactly full-house yet though, but food, definetely worth coming up the steps.

Went here based upon hotel's recommendation. The staff was very attentive, friendly, humorous, and took us into the kitchen to see and select our fish. Grouper and red snapper were grilled perfectly. Service was as good as it gets. Ambience was wonderful. Yes, the final tab was pricey, but dinner for two, including appetizer, salad, and bottle of wine for 120 euros is not bad for the location and competition.

When the concierge at The Grand Bretagne recommended this place, we were a bit skeptical. But, when our cab driver also recommended it, we knew it was a "sign" and we're glad we went. The location is awesome and their roof top restaurant has a great view. The service was solid and the food overall was good. I would recommend this place if you're ever in the Plaka area in and around Athens.
