Ate here last night with my wife and son and were very pleasantly surprised!

We ordered three starters and two main courses and were advised by our waiter that this would probably be enough. He was right and we were grateful for his advice as he could have let us go wild and waste food. On saying that, the food was really excellent and very tasty. Our starters were the vegetable mille feuille, roasted mushrooms and chickpeas with tomatoes and our main courses were orzo with prawns (my favourite) and salmon with orange.

You know you are in good restaurant when you are surrounded by locals eating. On saying that, there were English menus and the waiters were knowledgeable and could describe everything well in English. We found the price very reasonable at 61 euros including a bottle of wine and puddings too. Would we go back? We plan on going again at the end of our great trip to Athens.

Every time we are in Athens we visit this restaurant at least once. The food quality and variety is excellent, the service is very good, interior decoration of the restaurant is really nice and the prices are very reasonable. There is a good selection of wines and beers. A must when you like Greek traditional cuisine and you are in the Syntagma area.

Every so often travel throws a really pleasant dining experience at your feet. This is an unashamedly unfancy restaurant (formic a tables with paper covers). But the menu is excellently authentically Greek.

To start we had a 'green balls' (not a medical condition but a vegetarian burger-like dish) really delicious.

Afterwards I had 'young goat with rosemary' - you don't get much goat on Irish menus. Tender and delicious. A steal at 12 euros!

The wines are from grapes they grow themselves. We drank way too much - for about 15 euro!

Great food, magic atmosphere, great price

I'll be back!

I had dinner with a few colleagues ion a wednesday evening. We booked a table in advance ( well done, the restaurant was full).
The food is simple, fresh and very well cooked. Traditional greek food, varied and tasty.
The service was fast and nice.
The atmosphere was pleasant and, even if the restaurant was full, it was not very noisy.
The price was very reasonable for the quality.
We werw five people, we ordered five different dishes, and we shared. Good!!

Walked in not knowing what to expect, and had a wonderful meal with prompt and capable service. The food was superb at reasonable prices. Would recommend with confidence. We ate outside under the overhead heaters and were surprised by the number of people smoking while eating! Wasn't a problem as we were eating outside.
