“Quite fantastic and well worth looking for”
Reviewed 4 July 2014

An absolute gem of a restaurant. A 2 minute walk from Petralona Station you stride into a small enchanted garden in the midst of the Petralona's urban sprawl. The food is delightful - the shout out dishes were the fava bean purée and the grilled lamb chops, however everything was cooked with incredible care and respect for the excellent produce. The service was friendly and attentive without being intrusive. O Santorinios is perhaps not fine dining, but it is without doubt fine food served at it's very best. One tip - go hungry.

“A hidden oasis”
Reviewed 1 July 2014

Fabulous food made with fresh ingredients in the style of Santorini cooking. Whether baked or grilled you can't go wrong..in fact a bit of both and some salad is perfect. Love the quaint setting with retina barrels, folk art and a charming garden .,what a wonderful tucked away spot only a block away from a metro stop. The staff couldn't be more welcoming and take great care to make sure your dining experience is a happy one! 2 oopahs!

“Excellent homemade food”
Reviewed 29 May 2014

This is a place locals love and if you guys who visit Athens, care to be in our shoes then go there.
It is accesable by train (green line Monastiriki to Pireaus), so take train from Monastiraki ot Omonia square to Pireaus and get off at Petralona station. Dorieon is on the other side of the staiton.

This little restaurant has a beautiful yard full of flowers that will take you mentally, to the island of Santorini. Their homemade food, will make your tastebuds going crazy, so I'm sure you will be pleased by both the quality and the price. Ask the owners to propose traditional dishes of Santorini and try them all!

“Delicious and simple Greek taste”
Reviewed 24 June 2013

After a day walking around in Athens, you can go to this restaurant and find a peacefull, authentic spot where you can feel at home. The location is wonderfull: a nice garden with flowers that brings you in Santorini. The food is really good, tipical and the owner is very kind.
The price is competitive. I was there as tourist, and I was extremely surprised by this place: we came once and then we came the next day also. I look forward to come back in this beautiful city and come back in this restaurant.

“Traditional taste a bit of Greece”
Reviewed 25 May 2013 via mobile

A real gem in the heart of Athens. In a commun vivid neigborhood and small restaurant with a small inner garden with flowers and nice decorations. Very good food with traditional plates from Santorini. Great value for money, recommended highly.
