Positive:
2mn walk from bus stop (from the airport bus no X96, ticket EUR 5.-, bus stop name NAT). 5mn walk from port. Good service. Location easy to find. Room (refurbished) clean and quiet. Small shower and shower curtain. Air conditioning. Elevator. Buffet breakfast (ok). Free wifi in the reception hall.

Negative:
Mattress a bit hard. Air conditioning on top of your head.

Friendly staff. Excellent breakfast. Clean.
Because of the lively neighbourhood a bit noisy (mainly businesses). Walking distance to the ferries, airport bus and station.
The rooms are a bit small but taking the price into consideration: absolutely perfect.

I chose this hotel honestly just because the rate at the beginning, end up this hotel surprised me with comfortable beds, clean room and towels, air condition works very well for hot summer. It's a good choice for catching early ferry or airport express bus. Hotel located just 5 mins from ferry E6/7, airport bus X96 also in 3 mins walking distance. The receptionist told me it was a safe area but still should be careful after 11pm if you have to walk alone. I think we have to be reasonable and do the apple to apple comparison. This price in Athens is cheap base on living cost, if you ever been to island like Santorini or Mykonos, you pay double but maybe worse room conditions.

It won't be a bad choice to stay for holiday, Metro just in 5 mins walk, taking metro line 1 you can go sightsee easily.

Hotel Triton is not a place I'd choose to stay if I weren't in Piraeus to catch a ferryboat the next day. It's not fancy, but it is clean, and the staff are helpful. However, the nightly rates were more expensive than I would have expected for this type of hotel. Breakfast was okay. You'll see the basics here: coffee, juice, toast, eggs, cheese, deli meats.

The rooms are cramped, but fairly comfortable. Our TV didn't work. The art and decor in the hotel is hideous, to the point of being funny! I wish I'd taken some photos of the bizarre things hanging on the walls.

Piraeus is a grubby port town, but I felt very safe at night. There are many good restaurants just a few blocks away. The hotel staff can direct you if you don't know the area.

This Hotel is a very good alternativ to stay instead of Athens expensiv hotels. Close to the ferry port and the metrostation, with 20 minutes trip to Athen centrum if you want to visit the downtown ! Also aviable to travel with bus straight from the airport only 5 minutes walk from the busstop and you are there. Exellent breakfast includes all you need for the day until the evening when its possible for you to visit some of the real greek taverna or reastaurants close to your nearbyhood, all to the half price from the Athen city. Also the hundreds of special small shops around where you can find whatever you wish, and have a greek coffe´ in a local kafeneon or a ouzo in a ouzereie near the small Agora outside your hotel ! Not to forget the helpfull personel on the hotel !

Get on bus 96x from Athens international, get off the 2nd stop in the main port area and let your iPhone or iPad leed the way. 5 minute walk from bus or train. Quick friendly check in, basic but clean family room (2 adults, 2 kids 10 & 8) We got on the train to Monastiraki in Athens for dinner. It took 10 minutes and set us off the the perfect Greek Holiday feel. It's always a good idea to buy the tickets the day or night before from one of the local "travel agents" it saves you the stress in the morning. If you you have the money, go for for "Superfast Vodaphone Ferries" Overall, perfectly basic hotel to start your holiday 5 minutes to most ferries. (cabs can be hard to hail as a foreigner)
