Nowhere were we warned that this hotel had a Club atmosphere. The Animation team worked very hard but this was not to our taste.Their noise continued morning, noon and night as they exhorted us to participate. At the end of the holiday when our flight was at 0330, we had to vacate rooms by noon. We tried to book an extra night at an agreed price. Checking the day before, the price had gone up considerably. To escape the noise, we ended up dozing our hire car in the car park.
Apart from this, we had an excellent holiday.

Our party of 14 ranged from my 2year old son to my grandparents aged 83 & 85. The hotel and facilities were great. They managed to ensure all of our rooms were together, the food was good with a different theme each night. The animation team were good and kept us all entertained for the whole fortnight, and Sofia behind the poolbar was fantastic, knowing what everyone of us drank within a couple of days.

The entertainment in the evening was ok, but the animation team are mostly French, and the entertainment was sometimes lost on our party as it related to French music/tv etc.

We can't wait to go back again

From the moment we arrived we were made welcome. All the staff we met were friendly and helpful both about the hotel facilities and about trips away from the hotel we wanted to arrange ourselves. There was a wide choice of enjoyable food at all meal times. The bar was open until 11 pm each day. Even though we had to check out at midday on our last day we were not due to be picked up until 1 a.m. the following morning for a 3.30 a.m. flight. The hotel sttaff made towels and a room available for anyone who needed to freshen up around 6/7 p.m. Aquis Hotels and Resorts can be proud of the high level of service provided by their staff

We are an English couple in our mid fifties, don't usually like hotels, never done All-Inclusive, usually do camping or villa holiday as we like peace and quiet, and keep ourselves to ourselves - however, we saw the holiday advertised in February, really needed a chill-out week of doing nothing, saw the great reviews here, and took the plunge. Are we glad we did - we had a fabulous holiday here, despite it being right outside our usual comfort zone.
1- Rooms
We had a room in what I believe to be one of the newer blocks, had a large entrance area with fitted wardrobes, plenty of good hangers, and plenty of storage. Good bathroom with shower, and a good sized bedroom, with glass doors to small paved area with seating and hanger for towels/clothes. Everything was spotlessly clean (and I am very very fussy!). Towels changed every day, sheets changed at least a couple of times.
2 - Restaurants and bars
Main restaurant, pool bar, pool snack bar, and a beach bar which was not open, but this was not really a problem. The food - what can I say! I had visions of endless chicken and chips style food - wrong! Breakfast consisted of pretty well everything you could think of from cereals, bread, continental, eggs, bacon, pancakes, fruit... Lunch was snacks by pool, or in the restaurant a huge selection of salads, pasta, vegetables, meat, fish, chicken, every day a selection of freshly grilled or griddled fish/meat - eg lamb steaks, red mullet, swordfish, etc. - with all the dressings, sauces and accompaniments you can think of.
Tea - cakes and sandwiches. Dinner - as per lunch but with more selection - grilled red bream was especially memorable. You would be very fussy indeed not to find something you really enjoyed, as much as you could eat, with as much wine or beer as you wanted. If you are going out for the day you can order a packed lunch the night before.
3 - Pool area and beach
Large sunny outdoor pool, ample free sunloungers and brollies, indoor pool and jacuzzi, adjacent gym, beach just outside back garden gate of hotel, free loungers, brollies, pedaloes, sea canoes, and catamarans. Beach bar shut, pool bar open from 10-6 with hot and cold drinks. Drinks include branded spirits eg Smirnoff, etc. Also icecream all day long if you wish. Beach area about the best along the strip, can walk along to nearby small villages in both directions.
4 - Entertainment - this was what I was dreading, as normally totally not my scene - literally there is something happening nearly all day and evening, the animateurs are young and very friendly and enthusiastic, they will ask you a couple of times if you wish to do an activity but if you say no they leave you alone. However, much against my expectations i found myself enjoying aquagym, various silly/funny games, and evening entertainments including dancing and music. OK, its not what you'd do at home, but hey, you are on holiday, have a few drinks, chill out, let yourself go! If its really not your scene, be aware you can find a sunbed out of the way, but you will still hear noise (laughter and cheering) from the games, and also associated music . As already said, the animateurs are very friendly and goodhearted, and do a great job - part of which I think is to encourage you to do something different.
Also onsite shops, a bit expensive, but if you can't be bothered to go far you can pick up some souvenirs, suncream, beachwear, jewellery, various newspapers, etc.
Other clientele - lots of French and German holidaymakers, smaller numbers of Brits, and several other nationalities.
Staff - very friendly and helpful.
Location - a good ten minute walk to the main road if you want to catch a bus - not tempting in the heat of the day; but the upside is there is no road noise, and its right on the beach. About 15-20 minutes drive from the airport.
I've put a fair bit of detail to try and give an accurate picture - ok, for sure there ARE hotels with more facilities, better location, more luxury - but for the money, this is fabulous value, very clean, excellent selection of food, and a really lovely friendly atmosphere - just big enough to remain fairly anonymous if that's your preference, but also you can easily meet and chat to others if you wish. Very much hoping to return sometime soon.

We stayed for 1 week at the hotel, and we really enjoyed our stay, we had had a stressful week leading up to the holiday and needed to wind down and relax, Our first day we settled down around the pool area to find the entertainment staff very loud, so the second day and almost all of the time we retreated to the calm of the beach. The entertainment staff are very friendly, but i cannot comment on the value of the shows as we didnt really get involved in them, we were a party of 4 and a young child whom we had to get to bed for 9 so most of our time was spend on each others balconies with carafes of wine. The food and drink supplied by the hotel on the all inclusive basis was very good and enjoyable, and we found the service very helpful, but could be a little on the slow side when the restaurant was busy. The beach bar wasnt open at the time of our visit, so had to walk upto the pool bar during the day. Pool towels were supplied and found our bedrooms clean and comfortable. The reception staff, bar and shop staff where extremely helpful and nothing was too much trouble. We hired a car and went to some historical sites and stopped at Agios Nikolias, which was very nice.

Booked holiday and was very pleased with the price, but never expected such a lovely Hotel, from the Manager to the Porter nothing was to much trouble. The food was excellent and it's a must to try the Ala Carte night. The entertainment was the usual with the Animation team doing their best we met some nice people so it didn't really bother us the drinks were good quality for an AIl inclusive and the wine served at meal times was good. Nice rooms quite spacious, had to pay for safe 3 Euros a night so could be expensive if you are there for 2 weeks, and the fridge was empty had to pay 2.5 Euros for a small bottle of water at the bar, but the hotel shop sold a large bottle for 65c lovely balcony over looking the sea and although it was the start of the season very quite, it was the Hotel next door that all the noise came from The water sports are free and also Beach Towels are provided( wish I had known this) The Chinese on the beach are fabulous for a massage We paid 10Euros and would recommend this one . I WOULD RECOMMEND THIS HOTEL TO ANYONE WHO WANTED GOOD FOOD GOOD SERVICE AND CLEAN ROOMS
