“Seclusion, swimming and sunshine”

Spent four very relaxing nights at Paradise Island Villas. Eleni is a very professional and fun person who manages every detail of the hotel. It's been a long time since I've stayed at a hotel that I wanted to eat at every night. All the villas are very private with fenced gardens and plunge pools. The villas are very well appointed - you can self cater, order room service or eat in the hotel restaurant. The wifi signal is very strong and there's also a serviceable desktop PC. We were lucky enough to try out two of the villas which were both decorated to a very high standard, with lots of hanging out space and little balconies to catch the sun or shade depending on your preference. I liked the Apollo villa better than Hermes as the garden faced West. The staff are very friendly and courteous but also are not too much in evidence unless you need them. My favorite thing was the big main pool - it's unusual these days to have a pool that is so deep and big in hotels and I enjoyed it very much.

The nearby coast and towns are not that nice - OK for evening strolls but quite noisy and busy, and with a ton of fur coat shops (!?!?).

Room Tip: Apollo, or any with a West side garden.

By far the best customer experience, by far the most relaxing holiday, by far the best cuisine, by far the best accommodation! We have been here three times now and each time the experience gets better. The villas are impeccable, and the hospitality offered is second to none. They know why we come and they give us exactly what we need, you couldn't ask for better service, Eleni is an absolute angel - nothing is too much trouble, if she doesn't know the answer there and then she will find out and get back to you. We will always come back here without question.....and can't wait 'til next time!

Room Tip: All of the villa's are of the same impeccable standard with private swimming pool set in lush ga...

This part of the coast is not the most beautiful of Creta but the hotel can really be considered as a wonderful island in this area. It was really "paradise"! Our villa was welcoming, garden and swimming pool were ideal for a few days relaxing but the most pleasant aspect was certainly the incredibly kind team and the 5 stars impeccable service. We recommend that you eat at the hotel and taste the cocktails! Thank you to all the team for this fabulous journey ...

We've just returned from a week at this beautiful resort, and if you're about to go yourself, then we're very jealous! If you're thinking of booking, then don't hesitate - you will have an amazing time, and will emerge from your trip feeling relaxed and happy, but also very sad that you had to leave! From the moment you arrive, you will experience the warmth and hospitality of Eleni, Pol, and the team, all of whom can't do enough to make sure you are comfortable and content at all times. Nothing is too much trouble, and your every need can be accommodated with minimal fuss. They are unfailingly friendly, courteous, professional and efficient, and will go the extra mile to make you feel looked after. It was my wife's birthday while we were there, and Eleni organised champagne, rose petals and candles in our villa as a surprise, and also brought out a lovely cake and Cretan dessert wine at the end of our evening meal. This was all complimentary, and we got the impression that they genuinely enjoyed doing it for us. It's great to see people taking such pride and pleasure in what they do, and in trying to offer the best experience they can to their customers. So often I have been disappointed with the level of service when I go on holiday - at Paradise Island Villas my expectations were met, and then exceeded!
The villas themselves are superb. We were lucky enough to be able to try three villas of different sizes while we were there (to fit us in during the week we wanted to come, it was necessary to change a couple of times, but this was always a smooth experience - housekeeping did everything for us, and Eleni also gave us a great deal on one of the more expensive villas, just to ensure we could stay for the dates we requested.) The villas are similar in overall feel, but are distinguished by size (amount of levels, bathrooms, bedrooms, gardens) and decor. They're all named after Greek Gods, and the interiors reflect that - we were in Poseidon for a few days, and this had an "aquatic" colour scheme, with blue tones throughout. The three we stayed in were all amazing, however, and very high quality. The gardens are beautiful, with private pools, palm trees, lovely lawns, and plenty of comfortable furniture. Inside, there is literally everything you could ever need - an internet-connected PC, a full flat-screen TV/DVD surround-sound system (there is a collection of over 300 DVDs at reception if required), cooking facilities, additional pillows/towels, lovely toiletries...the list goes on! There's also free wi-fi throughout the resort, which is very useful.
The nice thing about the resort is that there are only 12 villas, so you never feel like there are lots of people around, and it all feels very exclusive. You have the privacy of your amazing villa, but also have access to the facilities of a 5-star resort. There is a lovely restaurant and bar up at the main pool area, which overlooks the sea on one side, and a wide expanse of olive trees and mountains surrounds you at every turn. It's a wonderfully calming atmosphere, and we enjoyed many romantic meals and drinks on the terrace in the evenings. There is also another pool area down amongst the villas themselves, with hammocks and cabanas to relax in if you want to get out of the sun. If you want to be active, there is a fully-equipped gym and tennis court, and also a separate children's playground.
In summary, we can't say enough good things about the experience we had. From the moment we arrived, we felt looked after, comfortable and relaxed. The villas are excellent, the service is incredible, and the whole experience was great from start to finish. We were very sad to leave and would definitely return in future. We'd urge you to read the other excellent reviews, and have confidence that your stay at Paradise Island Villas will be a memorable one, for all the right reasons. We miss it already!

Room Tip: All the villas are amazing. If you're a couple, then Artemis is lovely with probably the best ga...

I travelled with my daughter and her two boys aged 3 years and 6 months and although we were all suffering from a bad cold/flu virus we had a great time in this little part of Paradise. Eleni and Paul could not have been more helpful and really sweet with the children. Sadly we couldn't make full use of the wonderful setting around the main pool but were able to use the facility of room service in our delightful villa. The Housekeeping team were the best ever and so charming and friendly too. The only thing we missed was a clothes washing machine or maybe a laundry room as with two little ones laundry service was not an option. Next time we will hire a car so we can explore more of this lovely island.

My wife and I have just returned from our 9 day stay in this wonderful place and wanted to share our views. I do not often write reviews but really felt I should. If you are booked into these villas soon then you will have a truly superb time. Just accept being spoilt by the friendly atmosphere, with your own private villa and pool, the superb service, the magnificent food (we didn't want to eat anywhere else!), the fabulous wine...I could go on. We also hired a car for 2 days (all arranged as part of the service) which was great and had some excellent tips from Eleni on where to go for sites, beaches etc - she knows the island so well so accept her advice it is worth it. Can't wait to go back!

With your own little garden & pool there's really no need to leave the comfort of your own villa. But the main pool, bar & restaurant are just wonderful too. It's only a small walk to the beach if you fancy something different but we preferred to stay in & make the most of the beautiful surroundings. Hire car is a must if you want to go exploring during the day, so many places to see ! Would recommend to all.
