This hotel provided a clean, comfortable, and quiet room. The exterior is very pretty, as is the lobby. The rooms are what I have come to expect in 15 years of group travel. If you're looking for luxury, go elsewhere, if you want a good night's sleep so you can get back to seeing the sights tomorrow, it'll do just fine.

The room was clean and comfortable (and truly smoke-free), and the free wireless Internet worked well. The hotel is right in the center of town, and close to a fantastic small souvlaki/kabob shop. The free breakfast was much better than many we had in Greece.

Delphi is fantastic, and the ruins are a very short drive from town. The surrounding mountainside and hill country are some of the most majestic and beautiful I've ever seen. Gazing from the ruins one can certainly understand why Greeks considered Delphi to be the center of the world and the most sacred site in Greece!

We enjoyed being able to walk anywhere we wanted from this hotel. Delphi, shopping, internet cafe, all very close. Hotel was nice and clean. Safe - traveling with a large groups of students from US and Canada - we liked this spot a lot!

Pros: George at the Parnassos Hotel is a great guy and he goes to equally great lengths to make sure your stay is a nice one in beautiful Delphi. The rooms are large and overlook either the beautiful streetscene, hills/valleys and Gulf of Corinth, or beautiful lemon trees in the back. The price isn't bad either. Cons: The rooms in the back are extremely dark and many of the light bulbs were either burnt out or had that wonderful green attribute of being so low light you couldn't see your hand in front of your face. Also, the bathroom was about cruise ship size (read: small).

I stayed here one night when the hotel I was in was booked up for my last night. The staff didn't seem terribly friendly at first, but after I got back from hiking all the way from the Cave of the Muses back into town, they took one look at my scrawny and exhausted self an gave me their last piece of pizza. :)

My room was fine, not too small and the bathroom was a decent size. It sounds like I got a better room than others who'e commented here. There was no view except for the building across the street.

My only real complaint is that the wireless Internet didn't work (they'd just gotten it installed and had a bizarre and expensive pay-per-use system) I had to get some work done that night and wasn't able to do so. The computers in their cafe worked, however.

I'd stay in the Fedriades if the view and Internet access are important (and if you're in Delphi you probably don't care about spending time on the Internet, but I work online in the summers to pay for travel), but if it's not available then the Parnassos will do.

The big restaurant up the hill (there are probably a few, can't remember the name of this particular one) is incredible. The lamb in lemon sauce was one of the best meals I've ever had.

We stayed two nights here in late Nov. 2009 and thoroughly enjoyed the accomodations. Yes, the lobby is large, with a bright and cheery breakfast space, and the rooms are compact with tiny bathrooms. In other words, a very typical small Greek hotel. Family =run, and the people could not have been kinder or more helpful. They made several phone calls on our behalf to check bus travel possibilities at no charge. I regret that I did not get all their names, but the main guy is Bobis. His charming daughter Evita did her best to try and teach us a few Greek words. I am completely puzzled by the deeply negative reviews posted here about this place. Did we miss the bus for some alternative reality?

We were shunted to this hotel after there was 'a problem' with this hotel's partner down the hill. (We suspect the problem was a lack of tourists.) We specifically picked the other hotel for it's view & were more than disappointed by the Parnassos. The customer service was horrible--only 1 person there was even willing to speak with us. The phone in the 1st room we were shown did not work, so we requested that they repair the phone or give us a different room, as we needed to make some calls back to the states. There was no one who could fix the phone, & the second room did not have a deck. I smoke & do so outside. When I asked about this, I was told there was no smoking in the room, even tho there was an ashtray sitting there! I asked about a 3rd room & was told this was the only choice available. (NOT true--we were almost the only people in this hotel as well!)
I was traveling with my mother, who has some trouble with stairs. The elevator was constantly being used to haul firewood. Where, we do not know-our room didn't have a fireplace, certainly.... When asked about this, she was rudely told to go up the stairs slowly! The stairs fairly unsafe to begin with--there was carpet on the stair, supposedly held in place with brass rods at the base of the tread. Most of the brass rods were not secured & many were laying in the middle of the step.
Thankfully, we only stayed in Delphi 2 nights~
