This is a good restaurant with views from the top, over the "lake" at Agios Nikolaos. This also makes it quieter than the hubbub down below. The food is more adventurous than the other Greek fare we saw in Crete, and a little more expensive as a result. However, the extra was worth it. Good ingredients (especially the fish), well cooked, and with a fair priced wine list. Service was friendly and helpful -- although it was not that busy when we had lunch. I assume that they have more staff for the evening. It has its own bar next door, to where one could retire after the meal.
