We recently visited Malia, Crete again and had a superb time as usual. The weather was excellent despite a few wet days and we had great pleasure meeting a lot of old friends. Despite being end of season there was still a lot to do and see. We discovered (for the first time despite going to Crete for some 15 years !) the open air museum and the anaconda at Hersonnosis.
When it comes to eating (especially fisn) there is no place like Malia Port Restaurant. It has always been, and probably always will be, the No 1 spot for fish. Incredibly fresh, no doubt because the owner is a deep-sea fisherman. Always a joy to go to. Will be there again in May 2013. Love to all, from Syd, Hilda and Callum
