We found a few restaurants that we really enjoyed in Agios Nikolaos but this was our favourite and we visited three times over our 2 week stay. Each time we had something different but always delicious - the fresh fish available changed every time (I guess what looked best in the market) we had tuna, amberjack, red snapper and sea bream at various times which were all fantastic. The starters/mezze were great - if you go there you must have the courgette balls! We drank the local wine by the carafe which was cheap and perfectly acceptable - Greece isn't known for its fine wine anyway so why pay more? We were made to feel very welcome and were well looked after with everyone being very chatty and friendly. I would recommend to anyone in the area - also, as other reviewers have mentioned, the location is great.
