“My favorite hotel...”
Reviewed 4 June 2013

It is absolutely gorgeous wonderful hotel in the heart of Chania.
I can say thousands nice words about this place.
It is in a great location.
My room was beautiful, had charming balcony & super comfortable bed.
Breakfast was fantastic! Service was great!!!
True amazing gem in the historical part of city.
A huge number of restaurants and shops are around the corner & harbour is just 10 steps away. It is also very close to the Venetian Port, Archaeological Museum (must see), Cathedral and gorgeous Lighthouse.
Two great girls at the reception were very helpful. They gave me all info I need about places to see, to eat, to rest, to have fun. They also helped me with renting a car, got me a nice taxi driver, who on the way to airport showed more places around the city (& took pictures for me) at no additional cost.
They made my stay wonderful in every way! Thank you very much!
If I go back to Chania, I would stay there!

Great location in Chania in the old quarter near the harbor and in the middle of the lovely pedestrianized area. Marianna provided exceptional and personalized service. The room itself was very comfortable, had every amenity we could have wanted and a relaxing balcony, and we slept the best we did during an extended trip around Greece. Breakfast had great variety and everything we tried was fabulous. We got up early one morning to hike the Samaria Gorge and Marianna had prepared such an extensive packed breakfast for our outing that we had enough for breakfast and lunch (and an afternoon snack). If we have the opportunity to travel back to Crete, we'd stay here again in a heartbeat.

Room Tip: We really enjoyed the room called "Deniz," as it had a nice balcony overlooking the charmi...

tucked away one street back from the harbour is this fabulous boutique hotel. Our room had everything you could want, lovely fittings down to bose ipod base. Extremely comfortable and the roof garden a delightful place to laze in the afternoon. Marianna and Martha very informative and helped us enjoy a great break.

It has been our second time at the Fatma Hanoum Hotel and we love it!
Marianna and Martha are so courteous and they can help you with everything. You just have to ask. The rooms are wonderful and our favourite is the roof garden. The breakfast is fascinating and very delicous. We will come back.

If there is a place in the world, that I would call home away from home, that would be Fatma hotel in Chania. From the moment I arrived, I was given a very well welcome. The hotel staff and the owner Marianna are providing a personalized VIP service to all guests. Rooms are so cozy, that you simply don't want to go out. There is so much positive energy in this hotel. The location is perfect. The breakfast is yameee and homemade. I loved it and looking forward to come back with friends.

We had a brief but outstanding visit from 30th April to 2nd May. Marianna and her staff were extremely attentive and friendly. The hotel is very central to Chania old town so perfectly located. We cannot recommend it highly enough. A very safe bet for anyone.

Many thanks to Marianna (the owner) and to Martha for helping our stay be a very enjoyable experience. The hotel is located in the heart of Chania's old town but there's nothing old about it. I have stayed in many boutique hotels around the world and the quality and service here is up there with the best of them. For us being connected is important and having wifi in the room plus in the common areas was great. The room was beautifully presented and clean. Breakfast was healthy and plentiful. There was absolutely nothing to complain about and lot's of things to celebrate. A wonderful experience, all round.
Oh yeah...on top of all that, my wife left her precious pairs of flip-flops behind and Marianna is shipping them back to Canada for us. Now, that's service!
