this hotel located in the old town, truly is the jewel in Chania's crown. It offers every facility the discerning traveler desires when abroad, comfortable beds, delicious bath products for the Jacuzzi, fluffy white towels, and wifi connections.
The staff are friendly, professional with charm and grace for whom nothing is too much trouble.the location is perfect, just a few steps from the hour our side with a panoramic view from the rooftop terrace.
I thoroughly recommend a visit when next in Chania,Oh and I forgot to mention the homemade lemon cake,oh the breakfast buffet is to die for!

We found Casa Delfino thanks to friends in the travel game, folks who have been there done that and done that again. We met one of them, Lefttheris Papageorgiou of Hellenic Adventures, at a hotel in Heraklion. He told us Casa Delfino was "the only place to stay in Chania." High praise like that sets up big expectations – and they were met. The first two people we encountered through the door were Stella, who had booked our room, and Margarita Markantonaki, daughter of the hotel owners and the future of the place. Given Margarita's beauty, charm and warmth, the future looks great. We had planned two nights tops. We stayed six, sampling a variety of digs, including the penthouse. Breakfasts were terrific, with contributions from Margarita's mom and grandmom. The concierge, Jenny, make great suggestions for touring the town and the region. When our computer refused to work, Iannis stayed with us until technology submitted to our bidding. The serenity of the patio and the amazing harbor views add to the positive picture. There are places to rest and places to nest. Casa Delfino is a place to nest. Note: A spa is scheduled to open in 2011.

We stayed at Casa Delfino for 4 nights as part of our honeymoon. The hotel is an old villa that's been passed down in a local family. The villa has an open courtyard where they serve breakfast with a lot of food that is prepared by the owner's family. The staff said they're also buying another building to create a spa and gym. It's a really unique setting wedged into the venetian town of Chania. Great attention to detail in the design of all of the rooms and buildings with marble floors, beautiful and comfortable furniture, and nice amenities.

They gave us a free upgraded room and complimentary bottle of wine to welcome us. The staff are awesome and very helpful. The hotel has a travel guide on staff in the mornings that sits with you while you eat breakfast to help you plan your day, to give ideas about places to go, and she helps you book excursions to other places around Crete through a local travel agency. We booked the Samaria Gorge tour which is an absolute must for anyone with the fitness to hike 10 miles. The owner grew up in Chania and knows all of the great restaurants and bars to go to, and also takes the time to sit down with you and a map and circle all of them and give ideas about what to see and do.

The roof-top patio has a great view of the city in the evening, and it's nice having a hotel back from the bay to avoid the crowds and heckling restaurant owners.

Casa Delfino is a great hotel where you'll surely be taken care of.

My husband and I spent 4 nights here for our belated honeymoon and had a wonderful time. We were upgraded to a suite with a fantastic balcony, it was a real treat to be able to lounge in the sun and not have to leave the hotel. Breakfast was good with homemade cakes, cheese, bread, cereal, yogurt and juices. What really stood out was the incredibly service from the hotel staff. They would spend at least 15 minutes during breakfast to give ideas for your day, along with maps and very specific directions. The location of the hotel was in the heart of Chania, just steps from shops, restaurants and bars. Street parking was easy, just a few minutes from the hotel. This hotel and staff made the first nights of our honeymoon very memorable.

Casa Delfino impressed me with its charm as soon as I walked into the courtyard, and our room was large and well appointed. However, it was the amazing staff that really sets this gem apart from all other hotels we stayed at on our Greek holiday. Lead by their charming manageress, they could not have been more friendly or helpful.

The location is perfect - so close to everything (museums, taverns, beach) - the most exquisite place for starting your sightseeing around the city. We frequently stay at 5-star
hotels around the world and have never seen such consistency of good
service. From check-in to check-out the experience
was truly outstanding and the service surpassed anything we had
witnessed before.
Our room was spotlessly clean, very spacious and beautifully
furnished, with attention to detail. I also loved the bathroom
amenities.
Highly recommended.
