“Very friendly place in ideal setting.”
Reviewed 23 April 2014

We chose this hotel online and arrived after midnight but loved it from the start. It's great to be right in the heart of the wonderful old town. The rooms are simple but very clean and wholly adequate; the service is exceptionally friendly and helpful - for example we hoped to book as well for our last night. As Morfea's Nest was full they very kindly booked us an alternative and emailed us the details while were travelling. And the bakery about three doors down is excellent for breakfast.

Room Tip: There's no noise problem anywhere as the street is not open to cars and it's generally a qui...

Good location and good price in this awesome hotel.
You can arrive from bus station in 10 minutes, stays in the center of the wonderful streets of Chania.
The owner, Antonia, is an amazing person. She was very friendly and helpful.
It's a very comfortable hotel, even if you go alone or with family or friends.
In fact, if I come back to Chania, I'll come back there.

Room Tip: You should check which hotels are in the center or near, that's very important, and then, it dep...

The Hotel is wonderfully situated with a great terrace on the roof. If you re fine with a simple and clean room stay here and you have a great time!
The staff is extremely friendly and if you like to cook sometimes on your own and risparm a bit of money you should ask a room with a small kitchen (for example the one downstairs).
Just be aware that the beds are of a french size!

My husband and I had a great five-night stay at this hotel. Our room had two windows, kitchenette with a fridge and a nice updated bathroom. The place is perfectly located on a fairly quiet street in the center of town, just steps away from the bustling scene along the harbor. The building is 500 years old, but you wouldn't believe it with the updates to the interior. It certainly walks the line between modern conveniences and fitting into the character of the old city. The owners Nassos and Antonia were very friendly and helpful. We even got to know them a bit, hanging out on the veranda one evening. Overall a great experience.

Hello, me and my girlfriend spent a long stay holiday (9 nights) in this hotel. The people of the staff, Nasos and firstly the main manager Antonia are young and have been always pretty nice with us and always available to help us for any reason: we asked for a tv and a kitchenette with a oven instead of the normal cooker point and she provided it. Also when we asked her for a good beach she indicate us a lot of places. When we had to plan a trip to Samaria gorge, she booked it for us the trip in a local travel agency. Consider the hotel is in the very center of Chania (only 100 meters from the port) and when you'll be out in the street you'll find a road full of restaurants and shops but don't worry because the hotel have modern windows and so any noise will remain outside. The room was in front to the reception (the cheapest one), is a really fresh room because is insulated with wood at the walls and the Air Conditioned is efficient. In the room there is a fridge, a steel sink and dishes, cutlery, glasses, etc. . The bathroom (with shower) is really small (1,5x1,5 meters approx) but is modern and clean, you'll find a soap dispenser at the wall. For the hot water there is an electric water heater so you'll find hot water at any time. During the vacation the bed sheets have been changed two times and the towels 3 or maybe 4 times. If you have a car: you can not enter in the historical centre of Chania with a car, but there is a free parking place 5 minutes walk from the hotel. Around the hotel you'll find some small shops to buy foods/water/wines and a cheaper supermarket is 10 minutes walk from the hotel. Also the bus station is 10 minutes walk from the hotel, you'll be able to be simply connected to the Chania airport (we use it to reach the airport) and the other cities of Crete: Morfeas Nest is a nice place to spend a vacation and a perfect base to discover Crete!

(note for the rate: there is not pool in this hotel)

Cheap, rustic and friendly ! They had the best shower of all the hotel we've been in Greece, just to note... It's a lovely place full of life in Chania. The location is perfect. The woman was very kind to us and suggested us to go to Samaria Gorge, which was incredible as well.

You should go !!!

We decided to visit one more time Chania Old Town and with no second thought we choose again Morfea's Nest. Antonia was very happy to welcome back us again and gave us a free upgrade to Superior Studio, a very nice and spacious room. Cool atmosphare and we were really happy to stay again at this place. We enjoyed sitting during the night by the roof terrace with perfect view and great energy!! We definitely wish to visit again Chania Old Town and looking forward to meet Antonia again and again.

Room Tip: Superior Studio is a really nice and big room. The place is just in the center of Old Town. Enjoy a...
