“Delicious Cretan cuisine with a creative twist!”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 16 June 2014

While you are wandering in the alleyways of the old Chania town, you might find a colourful narrow passageway with nice little tables. That's the best diner in town, with a menu full of delicious typical dishes of Cretan cuisine. What's more exciting is the daily dishes that always add something new to the tasty variety of the standard menu. Those special dishes are not just typical of the local tastes, there are new ideas blended in the traditional recipes.
Service is always prompt and ready to explain what's on the menu and they come with interesting dining suggestions! Good quality of wine and raki.
What's more important is that you get all the above in amazingly affordable prices!

"To Koutourouki" has been around for three years and it's no wonder that is has risen so fast in the dining preferences of the locals and the tourists alike!
Wholeheartedly recommended!

“Cute design, tasty food”

Lovely, smallish, uniquelly decorated restaurant with several options for vegetarians and even vegans. Also great meat dishes. The location was also peaceful. Customer service was decent (the restaurant's dog was cute!)

“Delicious food and service with a smile”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 11 May 2014

We stumbled upon Koutourouki as we wandered through the streets of Chania looking for dinner one night. The colorful artwork on the walls of the alley and the cute tables and chairs drew us in. It was hard to choose from the many appetizing items on the menu. Everything is reasonably priced. We ate dinner there twice and thoroughly enjoyed all the food we ate. It's traditional Greek with a twist. Very delicious! Plus the waiter was very friendly and helpful. At the end of dinner we were treated to a complimentary dessert plus raki. What a fun and unexpected surprise. We highly recommend this place!

“Your friendly neighborhood resto-bar”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 29 March 2014 via mobile

This cute little place is found sandwiched in an alley that's been handcrafted to a cozy ambiance. The food is constantly changing so you'll never get tired of eating here. The thing is I would highly recommend the fried feta cheese with honey but I'm not sure it will be there next time. The food? Just simply excellent. There was nothing I did not enjoy, all of what we ordered I loved. A definite must visit if you wanna get away from the typical tourist traps.
