The staff, the breakfasts and the location can't be beaten. In 21 days in Crete, this place beat all others. It is perfectly located to see Hania on foot. The breakfasts are so generous and lovely you don't need to eat again all day! The guys that run the place know their customer service. They take the time to sit with you and show you where to go to see the sights and have excellent recommendation regarding restaurants and bars. It's clean and spacious. We had a room overlooking the street and had no issue with noise. There's a great rooftop terrace and garden out the back where they serve breakfast.

The rooms at the back are genuinely "boutiquey" but the ones at the front are very ordinary. We booked nine months in advance, stayed for seven nights and didn't get any special discount - so I would have thought we might have been given a decent room but ended up in (what I now realise is) one of the dingey rooms.
Having said that, Nikos and Ioannis were very welcoming. The breakfasts are excellent and their restaurant tips for dinner were great.
Just make sure you don't get palmed off with a room at the front.

What you see is what you get. A wonderful interior, very tasteful decorated. It is not a 5 star hotel, so if you need room service, swimming pool and the like, you are wrong. If you seek a quite room and a wonderful fresh made breakfast, very friendly and helping staff, then you are at the right place. Take the rooms to the backyard on the ground floor and you can go directly to the backyard from the room. The hotel is like 5 minutes from the harbour. If the staff is giving you tipps what to do, take them! If they offer you to organise a rental car, take the offer.
I have to say it: this one is a treasure. Go there. Enjoy!

This hotel was amazing, the perfect boutique hotel located in the town near coffee places, great restaurants. The rooms and the hotel very clean and spacious. The breakfast is services at the back garden and what a breakfast. This was absolutely delicious, home made Greek specialities served warm such as sweet and savouries little pastries, biscuits, fresh orange juices, Greek yogourt with honey, omelettes, scramble eggs ect... this is what I call and very personalized services to please everybody. And to top up this great place the two owners were the best! They recommend us the best places to go far from the touristy places. They took the times to give us advices and gave us great recommandation. If you are in Chania this is the place to stay in. We will be back for sure!

Stayed here for 5 nights with my family, family run hotel. Nikos and Yianni two brothers were the perfect host. Hotel very clean they both spoke English and went out of their way to guide and help us while we stayed in this beautiful city. Now a bit about the breakfast, you are seated in this gouegeos couryard, I have travelled the world, and this spread should be five stars. Their mother makes all the food fresh, and so much of it. She is an excellent cook so be prepared for different Cretan delights each morning.

Room Tip: Room overlooking courtyard
