I marveled at the setting of this old church. The interior was cool and a nice place to sit down and admire the ornate decorations.

This is a lovely old church set in an old square of old town Chania. It is quite unassuming as a church but when you take time to stop it is quite pretty and totally in keeping with the rest of the square.

Very nice and in keeping with the rest of the town

This church is actually unlocked and visitors can tour it. It's a beautiful church located near the indoor market. The architecture resembles a church that you would see in Venice. The interior of the church is also worth visiting.

The 1821 square this church stands on has a sad story of the Turks hanging the clergy from the church at the old plane tree
