Third time in this hotel and it is always like coming home!
Beautiful sunsets at the poolbar, swimming or diving at the see right behind the hotel and Chania is also just a 15 minute Ride by car.
Perfect for every activity you want do do on the Island! 5 Stars*****

I stayed with Georgi in his Blue Apartments between 24th and 30th September 2013. The location is stunning - great views, from the rooms out to sea. The lovely Kalathas Beach is only a 15 minute walk away with a great beach Taverna. Chania Town is 15/20 minutes by car.
Georgi's apartments are spacious, clean and modern. They have great power showers and all rooms have air conditioning. Room and beach towels are provided (as are anti mosquito devices). There are Laptop connections, there is Wi-Fi and of course a modern, flat screen TV. Breakfast is included in the room price, with a fine selection of hams, cheeses, eggs, fresh bread, coffee, tea and a fantastic orange juice machine from fresh oranges. Georgi and his staff are all very friendly and they all speak English (they will teach you a few words of Greek if you wish). There's a nice bar overlooking the fantastic swimming pool, and Georgi has access to his own little sea cove with sunbeds and easy sea access. The pool area and surroundings are very pretty, lit up at night. I've been here a few time over the years and watched Georgi enhance and develop his premises to the very high standards, they are today. It's excellent value accommodation. The apartments suit singles, couples and families - all are catered for. I had a fantastic holiday with Georgi and his team. I'll be back repeatedly. Max Macson

Room Tip: The best apartments either look out to sea and overlook the swimming pool or look out to sea and the...

Myself and three friends stayed here at the beginning of September in a two bed apartment.

George & Maria were fabulous hosts. George for supplying plenty of information when we needed it and Maria for chatting with us, giving us mosquito repellent and generally looking after us.

The room consisted of 2 bedrooms, kitchen area and bathroom. Each bedroom had a balcony. One looked over the pool and on to the sea.

Could always get a sun lounger! And climbing down some of the rocks you can also access the sea. On the walk down to the sea are also some hidden loungers so go look for them if you want some privacy!

Breakfast was included. Buffet style and was very nice.

Overall we loved Giorgi's Blue Apartments for a quiet relaxing break.

We arrived in Chana for our friends' son's wedding and we shared a two bedroom apartment at Giorgi's with our friends for one week. The airconditioned rooms were more than adequate with enough cupboard space, an adequate kitchen and bathroom and a lovely balcony overlooking the sparkling pool and beyond that, the sea. The apartment was cleaned every day with fresh towels and bedding provided when needed. George himself was the essence of a perfect host, providing information and maps immediately when we enquired about something. The breakfasts were absolutely wonderful and we believe we will never find Greek yoghurt and beautiful tomatoes full of flavour, anywhere else! It was a buffet breakfast with an excellent variety of food to chose from and we so enjoyed sitting around the pool eating our breakfast each morning. If you left the pool area to go to your room, the pool loungers were immedately straightened and put back in place, if leaves dropped into the pool, they were immediately cleared away. We could find no fault with this accommodation and would recommened it to anyone. We also found the price most reasonable.

We stayed at Giorgi's Apartments for 5 nights in a beautiful corner studio, with a sea view from every window including the bathroom! The studio is very clean and well equiped, bathroom rather large by Cretan standards, and we even got a roll-away bed for our 4 year-old so we could keep the sofa for its primary use!

Breakfast is a rich buffet with a special mention for the gorgeous thick Greek yoghurt and the fresh orange juice.

The location is really perfect, not too close (for noise and traffic) or too far (for dining options) from Chania Town, with great beaches in the near vicinity (Stavros was our favourite, about a 10 minute drive, but the Kalathas beach is also nice and safe for children). The fact that the hotel has its own private cove is definitely a bonus and makes the place very special. Large swimming pool, friendly and helpful staff.

We did struggle a little bit with the restaurants around as our first attempt, a dinner at Irene's Taverna, was very disappointing (unchewable pork souvlaki served with cold chips and rice). But we found a real gem on Stavros's sunset beach, the Sunset Taverna (also known as Malika's) where we became regulars (reviewed separately). We also dined twice in Chania Town, at Thalassino Ageri and Tavern Strata, both great places.
You can also get one of the friendly lady staff to order take-away for you if you like.

As mentioned by other reviewers, there is indeed a lot of air traffic above the area, but you get used to it. And although I would strongly recommend that you book a sea view apartment, please bear in mind that you will be overlooking the swimming pool and bar area, which can get noisy some nights. This is however none of Giorgi's faults, some people just become very loud after a few drinks! But on the whole, all guests were very respectful.

All in all, a top place to stay, beautiful, comfortable and friendly.

Recently returned from 10 days staying in apartment 13 at Giorgi's. Really cannot find fault in either the accommodation, the location or the fantastic customer service!

I have spent many years visiting and working around the Chania area of Crete and have stayed in a number of apartments and private villas... this was definitely the best place I have stayed, made up for the most part by the wonderfully kind people and the breath taking location directly on the fringes of the clear sparkling blue Aegean Sea.

The only slight down side, IF I was being picky, is the volume of some of the aircraft which regularly pass overhead to and from Chania airport (around 10 mins drive away)... but to be honest, my partner and I ended up enjoying this element of the trip more than we expected - particularly as many of the planes were cool military fighters and bombers (on training missions I hope!). Fascinating!

George, Nelly and the two Marias (and Tiger the cat!) all worked tirelessly to make sure we felt welcome... from the moment the first shot of raki was poured upon our arrival!!!

There is so much I could write but I believe all the positive reviews on here say it all already...

If you're looking for a beautiful, comfortable, convenient place to stay, with a true taste of Cretan hospitality thrown in... this is it.

We will definitely be back!

We arrived very late after an 8hr flight delay. This presented no problem for George and Maria who were there to welcome us. Maria took the time to explain all the facilities in our room as well as what the accommodation had to offer.
We enjoyed our breakfast every morning around the pool, there was plenty of choice from cereals to salad as well as cold meats and cake. The freshly squeezed juice was also a bonus.
The room itself was spacious and scrupulously clean. We had satelite tv although there were only 2 English channels but we didn't watch much. The wifi is great, you can pick up the signal all over the accommodation as well as on the edge of the cliff near the sea. Access to the sea is great for those wanting to snorkel, there is lots to see as the water is so clear. it is also very close to Kalathas beach which we visited lots. We also visited Chania many evenings to eat as it is so close by car.

George and his staff are extremely helpful, nothing is too much trouble for them. They will suggest places to visit as well as places to eat. They all made our visit special, we will certainly be returning.

Room Tip: We were advised by George that sea view rooms are better, we didn't have one but the room was st...
