Before I start you must remember we are in Greece and things are different.
The hotel is as we expected good size room ( two doubles knocked into one premier) with sitting room, bedroom and two shower/ wc's also a jacuzzi tub in the sitting room, somewhat strange, two balconies, private pool with very good size terrace that was in the sun from sunrise to sunset with spectacular views across the bay to Spinalonga.
We knew the hotel was on a hill side so we were not surprised that we had to use the hotel buggies to take us to our room on the 5th level less than a minute but too steep to walk, coming back down via the rear steps and slopes was fine but a little slippery.
All food in the main restaurant was buffet service with a good choice and variety for breakfast, lunch and evening meal, you will certainly not starve there's something for everyone, if there is a gripe the food could be a lot hotter. There is an outside dinning terrace which is great but very popular in the evening, stay away for breakfast too many wasps, not open lunch time to hot.
The pool area is quite pleasant and very popular, sun beds go very quickly by guest placing hotel towels and reserving for hours without being used, the hotel should police this sera and remove towels.
The AIl Inc was fine plenty of local drinks to choose from, but not bottled still water although you could have bottled sparkling.
The only real disappointment was the beach, the setting was great and again sunbeds laid out with parasols and a small beach bar, but the beach itself was pebbles/shingle leading into the rocky shoreline.
Everyone we dealt with with in the hotel was excellent from the reception, bar staff, waiteress's, waiters and not forgetting the chamber maids.
A special mention must go to Monica at reception who we found to be excellent and nothing was to much trouble, there are many others who we will remember for years to come but too many to name.
The hotel is adult only which was quite pleasant, the temp was touching the forties but thankfully there was a lack of Mosquitos. Although we did use burners in our room during the night..

Just arrived back from my amazing stay at this hotel. We arrived there around midnight on a Tuesday night and were greeted very warmly by staff despite them being super busy. We were escorted to our rooms by a golf buggy as we were in one of the new rooms of the hotel at the very top. Upon arriving to our rooms we were blown away. The room was immaculate and we couldn't quite believe that our room had its own private pool on the balcony. The hotel had placed filled baguettes, water and fresh fruit in the fridge as we had arrived so late. The baguettes were really yummy. We woke on Wednesday morning to the most beautiful sunrise and most amazing views overlooking the ocean and Spinalonga island. Its was a truly breathtaking and surprising as when we has arrived the previous night in was pitch black. We went all inclusive and found that there was always a good selection of food - we never went hungry. My partner was also well catered for as he is coeliac. The deserts were definitely my favourite part and found myself missing crepes and bananas for breakfast when i got home. The rooftop Asian restaurant was really good although upon looking at the menu I was hesitant. I had the spring rolls, cashew chicken and friend ice-cream - it all went down a treat. The staff in the restaurant are so attentive and friendly really felt well looked after. these guys work around the clock and get to know what you like. Kostos one of the waiters is a true gentleman and always looked happy to see us. The porters were also really friendly and chatty - you will get to know the porters well if you need the golf carter up to your room. The lady who works in the shop was lovely she is so considerate she gifted wrapped a photo album i bought even though it was for myself and even overexerted herself using a hand pump to help us blow up a lilo. There is a great selection of soft and alcoholic drinks and snacks variable throughout the day. The hotel beach is stony and you will need rubber soled shoes to go into the water. Good selection of water sports available at the beach. The only slight negative that I have which is by no means the hotels fault is the heat. Despite the air conditioning we found it quite difficult to sleep at night. Thoroughly enjoyed my time at this amazing hotel and have no doubts that we will be back and I will be recommending it to all my friends.

Room Tip: For the best views choose the new premium suites room numbers above 600. The views are utterly breat...

We hired a car from airport and got to the hotel within the hour to avoid the 2hr plus bus ride, definitely a great idea, hotel is beautiful, views amazing, staff and management are excellent, as per every other review the hills are steep, really steep but buggies are available, we walked them and made sure we didn't forget anything as we didn't want to to go back to the room in that heat, but it's all part of the fun. The hotel is small therefore range of food is limited but it was all excellent quality. We loved the small beach, no sand, it's all stones but comes with the added bonus of no sand everywhere. All in all a fab week chilling out, all inclusive and fantastic weather. Enjoy !!

Ok folks
no problem with hotel at all, fantastic staff, service ect.
however!
This Hotel is between a rock and a hard place(it's a long hot walk to Elounda) and there is no shuttle bus.
Apart from that.
5 star from me

Room Tip: use room 203

We stayed at end of May and the weather was perfect. The hotel is set on a hillside and the room had wonderful views of Mirabello Bay with Spinalonga only a couple of miles away. Waking up in the morning to the view was something we looked forward to. The only criticism I could level at the hotel was that the evening meals could have been slightly more interesting. We went into Elounda for our evening meal on 2 occasions just to try something different. Elounda itself is a picturesque and charming small town with many good sea view restaurants. Visiting Spinalonga was a real treat (especially if you are history buffs like us). We had a trip to Agios Nikolaos but were a bit disappointed - Elounda is far more laid back and less touristy. We were planning other visits but we decided to stay put and admire the scenery.

Room Tip: Make sure you request 3rd floor or above for best views

We stayed at the elounda blu for 2 weeks in July, you read in every review about how good the staff are! Believe me it's true they are all lovely and nothing is too much, have to give a big mention to marina in the shop, what a laugh we had!! We stayed In room 414 with a shared pool which was brill!! As with the heat there wasn't nothing like just chilling out, having a dip whenever you wanted pure bliss, the walk up to the room was a bit steep but not too bad plus there is the buggies at reception if you need it. You can walk to elounda one way and plaka the other or you could get the bus at the bottom off the entrance hill and go into agios Nicholas which is a lovely city. We will definitely be back, I cannot wait.

Room Tip: Room 414 and 415 have a good size pool some off the others are a bit smaller also it's not so fa...

Nicos the manager is super professional in dealing with any queries - he has a great manner. Monica is brilliant and goes beyond the call of duty - I got a little ill and she sorted out everything for me including a trip to local GP in Elounda. Remember your European Health Cards - important. Vicky makes sure that you are having a good time and is there with lots of good advice. The guys that drive you up and down the hill to rooms are very polite, professional and you never feel you have to tip or anything like that - which in other hotels sometimes you do get that feeling. Best things are the suites and the views. The beach is peaceful and the water beautiful. Spinalonga is a must and read the Island by Victoria Hyslop - makes it all seem even more amazing. The food is good and all usually Greek. The wine very nice also. I would recommend the hotel if you need a relaxing holiday - weather amazing also. Again thanks to Nicos. Monica , Vicky and the guys in the buggies who in my opinion were the best ! Nothing too much trouble.

Room Tip: we liked suites
