This was, unusually for us, our second visit to Elounda Heights - return visits not being the norm for fear of not living up to the expectations of the first visit. However there was no need to worry - the welcome is as warm as the weather, the views are spectacular and the food is wonderful. Ann, Vangelis and Deborah make a holiday what it should be. We were relaxed from the moment we arrived. The pool is refreshing and surrounded by colourful gardens. The rooms are clean and the air conditioning provided a welcome relief from the heat. The boat trip is a great day out, even if Vangelis is the only one who catches the fish! Special thanks for for the birthday card and present for my daughter's birthday - a special touch which would not happen anywhere else. Thanks also to our fellow guests for their company. Elounda is a lovely traditional little village, suitable for those preferring a quieter life. A third visit is eagerly awaited.

Just returned from our 6th visit from Elounda Heights. Still the same high standards are maintained in all areas as the other reports continue to emphasise.

New for this year is the extended dining area which now offers views across the bay whilst you eat. For those of you who have been before, they have sacrificed the boules area for it but I think it was worth it.
Aircon is now free of charge - a major positive. With the financial situation being what it is out there at the moment and with this being a privately run business, it would have been easy (and understandable) to leave it as a chargeable extra, but it is proof - if it were needed - that Vangelis and Ann listen to what people report and respond to it where they can.

If you haven't been before, you really should give it a try - you won't be dissappointed. This many good reports can't be wrong.

Room Tip: All rooms have their own special and unique qualities. Wherever you are you are guaranteed great vie...

This is a fantastic family run hotel. We were so impressed by the warm welcome from Vangelis and Ann and the apartment, pool and grounds were spotlessly clean. The views are second to none and we even enjoyed walking up the hill for exercise to work off the delicious Cretan food and wine! We switched off instantly and enjoyed the relaxing yet friendly ambience and the stunning gardens. We will be back next year and would recommend Elounda Heights to anyone.

Chose Elounda Heights based on tripadvisor reviews. Was not disappointed. It's everything you read about. Cant really add anything that hasn't been said by so many other reviewers. It IS that good. Ann, Vangelis and Debora really make you feel part of the family, They are worthy winners of the Travelers Choice award. Can't wait to return.

I went to Elounda Heights with my father and from the moment we arrived we were made to feel very welcome. It felt like staying with friends, but was never intrusive. The pool area and bar are wonderful for breakfast and lunch and the evening meals in the al fresco restaurant are very good. Each apartment has a kitchenette equipped with fridge, two-ring hob, kettle, toaster and crockery so you can self-cater if you want to, plus it's a short, but steep walk to lots of restaurants in the town. My 78-year-old father who is asthmatic managed the hill, so it's not too difficult. The views from the site are breathtaking and we found it very relaxing. Being on a hillside provides a very welcome breeze. You would be very lucky to find a better place anywhere.

Room Tip: Some apartments have a better view of the sea than others, but all are very well-appointed with free...

Just returned from Elounda Heights , lots of great food from Vangellis, Sun, Ouzo and the company of old and new friends. We hear the weather in the UK has been very wet, Crete 34 to 40.5 and sun sun sun. Our deepest thanks to Ann & Vangellis + staff for all that went to make a fantastic week at Elounda Heights.
