Excellent place for a relaxed vacation. The apartment was spotlessly clean and well equipped. Close to town but high above it and away from the congestion and traffic. Hosts were welcoming and unobtrusive. The gardens and pool were beautiful. We enjoyed our stay.

I always said I wouldn't go back to the same place twice as the world is a big place, but Elounda Heights changed all that several years ago and my partner and I have just returned from our 4th visit.

Vangelis, Ann, Natalia, and Christina are the perfect hosts, the accommodation is clean, comfortable and contemporary, the food - either at the pool bar or in the restaurant - is superb and there are no children under 16 to disturb the peacefulness.

Like all reviews, each opinion is subjective but for me there are probably not enough superlatives to properly describe the experience of taking a break at 'the Heights' so if you need to take time out to relax in great company - this is the best.

Room Tip: All the apartments and studios have beautiful sea views so I'd be happy with any one of them.

Fantastic holiday, the perfect place to relax and unwind, what struck me was the silence.

Very friendly staff, Vangelis and Anne could not do more to make your stay as pleasurable as possible and I am sure when Natalia take over the reigns it will be no different.

We eat most nights at the Elounda, simple because the food was of high quality and reasonably priced , Vangelis cooked my Hallomi starter exactly how I like it and it was not even on the menu, how's that for service.

The apartment was clean and fresh with a regular maid service, although my wife found the bed a tad on the hard side. As for the views from our apartment they were simply stunning, the causeway to the right Spinalonga to the left and the bay in the middle.

I simple loved the place, so much so that I will be going back for a week in October.

We originally found the Heights via Tripadvisor and in 2012 visited as we were looking at Elounda as the venue for our wedding. Around 30 seconds into our first stay we knew we had found our venue and booked on the spot for September 2013.

The views here are breathtaking, and the colours in the gardens create an amazing backdrop, whether you are here for a special occasion like a wedding or just a relaxing break. But while the Heights is visually as good as anywhere we have stayed, it is the people that make it truly special.

We cannot write enough words to properly express how much Natalie, Vangelis and Ann did for us during the planning and hosting of our wedding. When we visited in May, Ann took us to meet the baker and the florist, while the hairdresser came up to see us and we were introduced to the excellent wedding planner, Janet. Natalie was a constant support, emailing regularly and running around for us ensuring every detail was meticulously covered without it ever getting stressful for us. We were able to have the day we dreamed of, and it really was our day, rather than the run of the mill, hugely expensive domestic weddings in the UK.

Two days before the wedding we were taken on the famous boat trip, a wonderful day of fishing, swimming and snorkelling. On the day of our wedding, we were able to have the Heights exclusively for us and our guests. Our meal was a nine course Meze, selected by us and cooked beautifully by Vangelis. We were able to celebrate into the early hours without restrictions or curfews. It all gave us a feeling of freedom that it is hard to find.

If you are looking to come and stay here, you will find peace and tranquility, stunning traditional home made food, breathtaking views and the friendliest hosts you will find anywhere. We will be coming back again and again.

Stayed here for a few days in August. Everyone was friendly and helpful. Vangelis was a great source of information for recommended trips around this part of Crete. We eat at Elounda Heights a couple of nights and the food was far better than anything we had in the village. Would thoroughly recommend for a relaxing break away from it all

We recently enjoyed a lovely 2 week holiday here. Vangelis and Ann are the perfect hosts along with the other staff. The apartments are nice and clean with free air con which is rare in Greece. The only downside is the steep hill to the apartments, the road is quite uneven In places and for the less abled quite hard to walk up, however there are plenty of taxis in the centre of Elounda so in 5 minutes you can be up the hill. Would definitely recommend Elounda Heights.

Stayed here for 5 nights in early October, and what a lovely place it is. At Elounda Heights you can be as involved as you want to be. Our apartment (Daphne) was spacious, clean and had everything you need and more. The views are fantastic from all around the grounds.
We ate down in Elounda every night - the hill is not that bad, take it at a steady pace and you're okay (and have a couple of "look how far we've come" stops on the way), thought I suspect it would have take us a little longer in July or August!!
If there was one teeny weeny moan it was the safety deposit box - because the key is on the fob with the card for the electicity you have to remember to get your money etc out before it goes dark, or as we did, open it by the light from your phone!!!
However, we would most definitely stay here again.
