Been here for one night and had a great time. The bed is extremely comfortable, the jacuzzi relaxing and the breakfast varied and fresh. If you can afford it go there, you will not be disappointed and will have a fabolous vacation

Pros:
- 5 mins walk to old town
- great view over the port and Venetian fortress, especially from the roof top pool
- clean rooms, pool and facilities
- friendly staff that speak good English
- all the luxuries you would expect from a 5 star hotel (e.g. Hilton style)
- main KTEL bus station right out front of hotel with connections to all of Crete
- great breakfast with lots or variety (plenty of cooked options, breads, fruit, cakes and biscuits)

Cons:
- To reach the pool you need to take elevator to level 4 and then stairs to the roof. This itself is not an issue, however sensor lights in stairwell only come on for 5 seconds so it can be a little dangerous at night when the lights turn off while you're halfway up/down the stairs.

I'm Starwood platinum staying above 100 nights in hotels all over the world every year , this is an excellent hotel on every level you look at. Very Well located , rooms are clean and beds are very comfortable. The staff are extremely helpful and very kind. Stay there without hesitation

My husband and I were at the tail end of our fabulous vacation to Crete and stayed at this hotel before heading home to the states. Well we could not have picked a better 'last night' vacation spot. From the moment we walked in (after our bumpy ferry ride from Santorini) the experience was great! The person at reception greeted us with homemade cookies and then were upgraded to a wonderful seaview room. We also stayed in to dine at their restaurant located on their fifth floor overlooking the harbor. the food, service and wine was incredible! (so much so that we look forward to returning soon)
