Don't know exactly what to say about this hotel. When we arrived they had no rooms they were overbooked so they took us somewhere else and then one day later we came back .so to make things better they offered us free breakfast. There are two girls in the reception. The one is short with blonde hair the other one taller with brown hair. We booked for water park to the brown hair receptionist and she gave us only one ticket. When the train arrived the driver did not stop, and to the rescue came the mini market girl that call them they came with a minibus and took all of us and we reached the train and sorted out all things for us.Another thing was that every morning we went in the mini market to buy some things..well every morning where people that had problems. In one situation there was a couple that had booked a ticket for a boat trip and the mini market girl called everybody to come and pick them up but they didn't because the receptionist (the brown hair again )didn't confirm the ticket the day before so the bus driver didn't stop. The mini market girls are different story. Again it's like the good and the bad. The morning girl (white- green eyes) had an incredible sense of humor excellent service didn't try to fool anyone and tried anything human possible to fix things- situations. On the other hand the second girl in the evenings (brunette -brown eyes) didn't know what to say to us when we asked things she was all this kind of bossy towards us and to make matters worse she returned 3 times our money-change wrong. Less money, all three times.all times she apologised -but hey,its 3 times. Now they say they have parking but the parking they have it's not enough.. Once a green Jeep had blocked everything and nobody could get out everybody were shouting at each other-and guess what- the morning girl in the mini market found out who it was and then helped all of us unpark our cars with safety. One by one. It's not a bad Hotel. It's a good hotel but for sure it needs some kind of an upgrade. And I don't mean bricks and walls only. I mean staff upgrade too. In all of the other areas we did not have a problem. The tall guy at the bar was okay, the restaurant was okay although there is an old man there talking to everybody and you can see the stuff being so stressful. Probably the boss. It's a clean hotel. But it also depends on the maid. We had the maid (black hair )that she practically barged into the room we could not even hear her coming in. Didn't clean, that good. Then another day we had another maid (wearing glasses) knocked gently on the door and waited for an answer and then she came in and her work was excellent..perfect clean..I would have given one star but I will give two because of the good stuff there .. They shouldn't pay the damage of the bad stuff. Would we come back? Yes. And we will go straight to the people we know that can do the job properly.. All the others for sure they need to learn their jobs a little bit better. So thumbs up for all the good personel that they are trying hard to do their jobs..

The hotel itself is really nice, bright, clean and comfortable. It is close to the beach, rooms are being cleaned every day, towels and bed linen are being changed every 3 days.
However, pay attention to services that are included in the price and services that may seem casual, but actually are charged extra: wifi, air conditioning for 7 EUR per day, breakfast for 7 EUR per day per person.
Also, there were only few pieces of soap provided in the room. Shampoos, shower gels and other amenities can be purchased in the shop that, as far as I understood, belongs to the hotel. Thus, travellers with hand luggage expecting hotel to provide such amenities, be prepared to buy them yourselves. As well as sponge and washing liquid for the dishes, because maids do not do dishes but the hotel does not provide equipment to do them by ourselves. This we found weird.
So that were biggest distractions that came into our attention but did not affect our vacation at all.
All in all, Crete is amazing and the personnel of Futura Hotel is more than kind to explain interesting places to visit, beaches to go to and things to do and see.
I would highly recommend this hotel and wish it all the best!

Room Tip: Rooms that are closer to the main street are noisier

We're just back from spending a week in this lovely spot in Crete. Its position is perfect, very close to the beach, on the bus routes to Chania and Kissamos to name but a few.
The apartment we had was larger than I anticipated, with a daily maid service, clean bedding and tiwels twice a week so kebeautifully clean, and the grounds are stunning. The pool is a good size, very deep for diving but a smaller area for youngsters. I could wax lyrical for several paragraphs! We had an amazing time. (Wonderful cocktails by the pool too!)

Lovely hotel, short walk from the beach, very friendly staff who are always happy to help, VERY clean pool area with plenty of sun beds, rooms are cleaned daily. Drinks and food are available from the pool bar all day right through to late night which is great if you're arriving late and want something to eat!

Great location, great staff, great food would DEFINITELY return !

This was our 2nd time at this hotel, we had a such a good holiday. Excellent service from all the staff, nothing is too much trouble. Our 1 bedroom apartment was nice and big with a huge walk in shower. Would 100% recommend this hotel and hope to return in the next few months. Thanks Futura!
