After seeing some of the hotels en route from Heraklion it was wonderful to step inside of this authentic beautifully decorated and immaculate small hotel. It is within the old town with all the restaurants you could ever wish for. The hotels own restaurant served excellent food either inside or out to suit yourself. Christos works in the bar and restaurant and he is very welcoming even at 2 am with welcome drinks when we first arrived. If you are after a massive pool, kids entertainment and fun and games then this is not for you. If you like chilling out, a very comfortable room, spotlessly clean and soaking up the atmosphere in the many little streets and alleys then this is for you. The beach is a comfortable 10 to 15 minute walk away where you can choose to hire beds and a parasol or like us (mum, dad and 18 yr old daughter) buy a parasol to use during your time. There are designer shops selling high end fashion mixed in with jewellery and touristy shops. It is not hard to find a place to eat in lovely surroundings in short walking distance from the hotel, Pigadi definitely worth a visit - it has a website. Don't hesitate you'll love it.

Room Tip: All the rooms have a name rather than a number; we were in Leondas which had a double in the upstairs mezzanine and a bed in the downstairs lounge area for our daughter. We are good sleepers who don't mind a bit of noise but I think the rooms towards the entrance side of the hotel may be quieter.

We stayed at this charming hotel for 2 weeks in May, we thoroughly enjoyed our say, our room was very comfortable as well as stylish, we also had our own patio. Situated in the old town of Rethimnon, it is very well placed shops, bars and restaurants, all within walking distance.

The staff were very helpful and welcoming, even coming out to meet us the evening we arrived, tired and exhausted, after midnight and could not find the hotel. There is a very pleasant patio with a small pool and lots of plants and flowers, which was cool even when the weather was hot, an lovely place to have a coffee or an aperatif. We also enjoyed breakfast there were always hot and cold options, we enjoyed the Greek specialities, pies and pastries.

We hope to return soon!

We have just got back from a weeks holiday here, we had a brilliant time and plan to return again later in the year. The Hotel has a great atmosphere and the staff where great, making us feel so welcome, especially Christos who works in the bar/resturant and George, we felt like family, nothing was too much trouble. The food in the resturant was fantastic. Having visited many Greek islands, we usually like to eat out in the local tavernas but the food at the Corina was so good we ended up eating there 4 out of the 7 night we were there, we would also recommend the mussels, they have the 'wow' factor, compliments to the chef. Christos was especially helpful when advising on other resturants in the area and directed us to Remezzo seafood resturant on the old harbour edge, where Frad looked after us wonderfully.
Our room was lovely, very spacious and very clean and we enjoyed the lovely suprise of a jacuzzi bath. Breakfast was continental and fresh. Rethymnon is beautiful and the location of the hotel was great for exploring around the old town which in many parts is reminiscent of a Harry Potter film set. The hotel is also near a bus station which is great for exploring Crete. We hired a car for the day to explore more of Crete and got a very good deal. The beach which is very clean is also very close to the hotel.

Just got back from a weeks holiday here, we had a fantastic time & plan to return as soon as possibile. The Hotel has a great atmosphere & the staff where great making us feel so welcome, we felt like friends, nothing was too much trouble. Our room was lovely, spacious & very clean. Breakfast was fresh & there was always lots of choice, a good start to the day before heading out into the beautiful Rethymnon. The location was great for exploring around the old town & its shops, coffee shops & restaurants. It was also near to the local bus station to explore more of Crete.

Room Tip: We picked a suite & had a jacuzzi bath!! Also air-con & mini bar. We had a room at the front which was very quiet at night.
