Nice hotel but spoilt with the noisy dining room. Children screaming at every meal and running around. To say it was supposed to be 5 star the clientel didn't seem to dress for dinner in the appropriate fashion. (jeans and sometimes shorts for evening meal). Management should point out the hotels etiquette.
Some of the rooms still need to be upgraded although very clean.

Not up to usual Greco Hotel standard.

The resort was very nice and the staff was extremely helpful. The dining was top notch and the Chef is the best we've had on any trip. The rooms were nice and the Presidential Suites were out of this world. In my opinion, it may not be a 5 star resort, but it is a strong 4 star resort. Little things I saw made me reduce it's rating, but a great trip all in all. The entertainment was nice, the pools were nice, and the beach was absolutely amazing. Take water shoes, because the rocks will destroy your feet, if you don't walk around barefoot a lot. The kid zone was very nice too, but my daughters didn't want to go too often. This family trip was a hit from start to finish.

Just returned from a holiday at Creta Palace. After being assigned to a room that was not in the condition we expected, I decided to have a talk with the people at the reception desk. Valia was the person in charge and after listening attentively to what I had to say took immediate action. Not only was she extremely welcoming and understanding but she was 100% efficient. We were reassigned to a new room which met our expectations 100%. The staff, in every area of the hotel were extremely attentive, kind and efficient. It was a real pleasure to stay there, just for the warm and welcoming staff.
As for the hotel, itself, it is a beautiful place. A few things here and there that need some tending, the gardens need better care, etc, but really only small stuff. The beach is also mainly stones, so you DO NEED to get aqua shoes or appropriate footwear. That is the one area where I could do some complaining about.
Our kids loved the Grecoland which is their version of a Kids Club, the staff there also very accommodating... my boy (6), was crying his eyes out because he literally did not want to come back home !!
All in all it was a great stay, even though the weather was not at its best towards the end of the week. Food at the restaurant was great... every time. A little too calm, maybe it was the time of year that did not precisely coincide with children´s vacations and the guests tended to be older... but nevertheless a great stay.

the hotel is nice, with beautiful garden , excellent swimming pool and friendly staff. The beach is very clean and charming. On the other hand room equipment is far for 5 star hotel, specially bed. Also towel are old and low quality. Food is average and et the end it start to be boring. There is too many Russian , what is not a problem, but majority of them are sort of "new" class with new cultural values.

I travel a great deal and visit many hotels. Creata Palace sets the benchmark for me in terms of customer service. It is not cheap but often in life, you pay for what you get.
Meals in the Hotel are superb. Amazing choice for breakfast and the in-hotel dinners.
The hotel is some way outside the main town but this has big advantages with the quiet private beach.
A taxi to the main town is EUR 7 and unlike 95% of countries, the Taxi drivers are genuine and will all charge the same with no rip-offs. It would appear that they vaule your business and are proud of their homeland, and want you to visit again.
There is a affiliate resturant - Agreco which is 100% organic produce. Well worth a visit as the food was superb.
Hotel guests are multinational with about 20% Russian 20% German and then a total mixture.
Some reviews on here are unfair but I suppose when you pay a lot of money your expectations are very high. I paid a lot of money but have no complaints. The front desk staff were most helpful and went beyond the normal call of duty to help.
