“Best Restaurant in Chora town..”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 29 July 2014

Busy most nights, sombook in advance. Short menu... half a dozen starters, half a dozen mains and a couple of specials, but every course we tried was first rate... cooked beautifully and tasty. Baked feta starter was excellent... and the roast lamb specialmwas sublime. Good wine list, and good value too - 75 to 90 euros for two for 3 courses and a bottle,of wine. Staff well trained and professional... and the owner is there most of the time. Eat in if windy, out in the garden if warm.

“Awful delays”
3 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 26 July 2014 via mobile

Don't sit if you're hungry. The delays are endless. It'll be an hour before your dish arrives. Better go in the center and sit by the traditional places.

“Truly excellent”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 26 July 2014

This is a seriously good restaurant - definitely not taverna food (of which there are many good ones in Folegandros). The seafood risotto is simply perfect: full of flavour, plenty of meaty seafood, moist and seasoned to perfection, and the orzo pasta has the right amount of chew. Like another reviewer, I immediately made a reservation for the next evening! Other excellent dishes were fava with sea bass marinated in citrus oil - spectacularly flavoured, and the fava was light and fluffy - and the smoked aubergine risotto. All dishes were imaginative and delicious. The all-greek wine list is very good. The aromatic white Aidani by cult Santorini winemaker Hatzidakis goes particularly well with the seafood risotto. Stick to Santorini if you want something drier, and go for an Assyrtiko - the Aegean's star indigenous variety (here represented by Gaia and their "Thalassitis").

“Absolutely loved it!”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 21 July 2014

A bite into the Greek pasta risotto with crayfish and I was making my reservation for the following night.
Sensational. Tried both meats and fish on the two nights (in addition to spectacular aforementioned risotto) and found all delicious, well cooked and well presented. The fava was a bit dull but will allow a small slip in quality compared to overall performance.

The atmosphere was dreamy. Such a chic place to the smallest detail with candles, flowers and music inside the restaurant and in the garden. Greek summer at its best.
