“Gorgeous setting, yummy food”

Kiki's was recommended to us by our hotel and it was a great decision to go. When you find them (the have no signage, so just hunt down the barbecue scent - it's not difficult) you'll likely find a queue.. But just grab a glass of the complimentary wine while you wait (such a great touch!!) and get chatting with the other visitors. The food was delicious and the owners are so friendly! Highly recommended!

“Loved it”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 6 June 2014

Such a lovely little place, food is simple but very well done we had the octopus and pork and the salads were all fantastic and by Mykonos standards very reasonable. The view down into the little cove is lovely and yes there is a wait but the free rose until your seated makes it fly by. Spend the morning on the quiet beach and go for and early lunch!

“Amazing place, great food”

What a superb experience. Apparently the restaurant only had electricity supplied two years ago. Finding the location is a bit of a challenge, but this makes it all the more rewarding. I highly recommend the pork chop which is their speciality. One of the highlights of our visits. Make sure you go and get there early!

“Depends on...”
3 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 1 June 2014

Although been there several times last 10 years, in different seasons and days and hours, only two to three times was of our initial choice given that we knew what to expect...
Its beyond our mentality or perhaps we are missing something, why should this be considered as a "must", "wow" and similar expressions when is no more than picturesque tavern with nice surrounding and overview (for the lucky ones).
But from there the: no reservation strategy thus looong waiting issue (especially in rush hours, days, months), the unsaid feeling of "when finish eating should leave the table (thousands of eyes starring every table to check who is spending time beyond necessary), the just ok service and the well cooked food, fresh salads and tasty starters hardly justify the asking prices, worthwhile the waiting and the non relaxing after finish eating.
From where I see it, when there is no electricity cost, the space/tables/personnel are limited, the no rental cost (I presume) or is rather lower given the remote location, no special deco cost, wc lower than fair, running cost(s) supposed to be, at least, lower compared to "standard" taverna in "civilization" therefore (at least I would like) interpreted in lower prices.
One could argue by saying that raw material are of first quality thus expensive but isn't that stand for (most, at least) of its competitors, especially in Mykonos; who among the given cost carry the extra/standard electricity, decoration, wc look and feel, table management, landline/wifi.....etc, but it is undeniable right for enterpreneurs to define management and price policy and upon each of everyone how and where to spent the (hard) earned money.
Having said the above I don't discourage not to go, on the contrary but its good to know what should be expected.

“An absolute must!!”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 31 May 2014

An absolute must in a trip to Mykonos! Spend the day at Agios Sostis beach and definitely have lunch in this tiny hidden tree top restaurant. Such friendly owners, amazingly fresh grilled seafood and the best selection of salads we had in Greece. My favourite place!
