“A very secluded beach for romantic moments...”
Reviewed 7 February 2013

Ideal for couples, offers secluded moments away from indiscreet eyes... The only disadvantage is that you need to pay attention to the road since it is a dust road going through the mountain before it descends down to the sea shore. Easier to reach by a small boat but you need to pay attention to the sea currents.

“family beach”
Reviewed 16 October 2012

Monastiri beach is in the north of Paros, but north winds cannot affect it.
It is the ideal beach for families, since it is sandy and the water is so shallow, you need to walk at least 50-60 meters in the sea to swim.
Very touristic, loud and popular, you can find a beach bar, a volley net (in the sea), lots and lots of sunbeds and umbrellas, plus a small outdoor cinema (free entrance!).
If you prefer to sit on the sand and not on a sunbed, it is not the place for you, since the sand is not fluffy (it is rather humid and hard) and there is no place left for free bathers.

“Great Beach!!!”
Reviewed 20 September 2012

Lots of fun! Many friendly locals having fun and enjoying the sunshine! Watch out for the girl charging 5euros to sit in a beach chair! The sand is way more comfortable! ;)

“Parking lot for a beach”
Reviewed 20 September 2012

It is obvious that they have tried their best to arrange the place to be pleasent for visitors but i didn't liked it.
The water is nice the restaurant also but the beach looked like enormous parking lot for sunbeds. Also there was a sign among the others which was directing you to a "rock park" there is nothing else except for rocks there and they tried to make this an attraction for tourists, how lame...
