The menu is quite small and sometimes you will find it difficult to choose a meal that suits you. The quality is really good. The lady that owns it (who is also servicing the tables) is arrogant and it makes you feel uncomfortable. I hope to change!!

This place is a little jewel hidden off the main street of Parikia waiting to be discovered. It offers a large shaded garden, decorated with taste. The wooden tables are spaced out so you are not sitting on each other. There a good atmosphere to the place.

The food is outstanding. You'll find a different take on greek food. Lentil or orange salad, fabulous stuffed tomatoes, tender chicken sulvlakis all nicely served in generous portions.

Their wine list is different too. Try the house wine, or one from the region of the four lakes (northen Greece), you won't be disappointed.

The welcome is warm and friendly and the place can get busy around 10:30p so make sure to secure you table before.

Try something different.

Everybody recommended "Tamarisco" (Paroikia is very touristic, thus one dosn't have a lot of options for a good meal) so we gave it a try.
Actually we weren't disappointed but not thrilled either.
Cozy, relaxed atmosphere, friendly, cool yard, minimal decor, soft music, small menu (and portions...), a bit expensive. I think that the reason I rated Tamarisco with 3 points is the fact that everything is average and it lacked some sort of personality and spirit.
