“More than just a Hotel”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 1 August 2013

We stayed at Roses Beach Hotel for 13 nights. Our accommodation was part of a package deal and we were very pleasantly surprised by the high standard of accommodation and above all the relaxing and caring atmosphere at Roses Beach. The quality to price ratio is very high.

The design and landscaping of the grounds is esthetically pleasing and is particularly well suited to its unique location at the northern end of Paroikia, looking back out over the bay. A wonderful view to enjoy when the light of the setting sun is cast over Paroikia town and the hills behind it. In one of our conversations with owner Babis we discovered that the hotel is about 24 years old and that is how long ago some of the beautiful bougainvilleas were planted. The grounds are a continual work in progress which get a lot of care and attention during the winter off-season months. It is a special place to stay and Babis and Efi really make you feel like a guest.

Practical aspects are worth mentioning: rooms are good-sized with air-conditioning, hot-water showers and a fridge; rooms are cleaned every day; breakfast buffet has everything you need and is available for those who want to sleep in a little longer. Babis and Efi have good suggestions for places to eat and can also organize take-away food. We did this a few times after a day full of activity. The other nights we walked into town after sunset and a cocktail by the poolside, usually Mojito's. The restaurants on the beach and in the old town are open very late so there is plenty of time to enjoy everything Paros has to offer.

We will definitely be back to stay at Roses Beach. I also heard it's a great place to have a wedding!

Room Tip: They are all good. We stayed in two different rooms while we were there.

We are currently staying at Roses Hotel on Paros. It is fabulous. With only 14 rooms it feels like you are staying at a private villa with friends. Elfi and Babis are amazing hosts who put themselves out to make sure your every need is catered for. We were even invited to their sons 6th birthday party on our second night! The rooms and public areas are kept immaculate. We are in room 14, which definitely has the best view of the area with its own sun terrace and separate balcony. It is slightly out of the town so if you have mobility problems a car would be advantageous. But it's a lovely walk to the town down the beach path, it's quieter than the road and cuts off the corner! I highly recommend Roses Hotel for relaxing chilled holiday or an oasis of calm for a more active stay if that's what you're looking for.

Room Tip: Room 14 has the best view of the bay

We booked a package trip to Paros this year. One of the offers was in combination with the Roses Beach Hotel.
We checked TA and although we are always influenced by higher rankings we decided to go for it.
We found it one of our best choices. We spent 13 nights, and had a very relaxing holiday.

Small 14 rooms run family hotel. One of the best quiet locations near Lividia beach, Parikia.
Just around the corner of Tango Mar and on the other side Cria- and Marcello beach.
Beautiful garden with a view on Parikia, breakfast in the garden, first class swimmingpool, perfect sunbeds, loungeclubs and bar. Special place to read a book.
Returning from the beach the pool, shower and garden gives you a lot of added value!

You need a car or scooter. To the restaurants in Parikia say it's a 15 minutes walk and circa 20 minutes to the Old Market Street, a good excercise!
Beautiful building, well mantained, perfect housekeeping, very clean rooms.

We are used to travel in Greece, so we have no problem with a smaller room, no television and the lack of a shower curtain.
If you know that before you are well compensated by price and by the beauty and quietness of this place, in combination with all the help you get from Efi to find your beach, restaurant or day-trip.

There is a breakfast served on the table in the garden. Bread, coffee, jus d' orange, an egg and jams. The only complain we have is that one has no variation in the breakfast. No point for a short stay but for us it was.

Nevertheless we give it an excellent review but, with more variety by a buffetstyle breakfast it should have been Top! So Efi and Babis, go for it, you have such a beautiful small hotel!
Confirmed by two couples, there on their third stay.

Room Tip: Room 7 looks like one of the best, a bit more space and larger bathroom with patio balcony. But the...

I felt obliged to write a review for this property as it is through other tripadvisor comments and photos that i eventually made my booking in this hotel and so i would like to share my experience with others!!! So if you are planning to visit the island of Paros, stop looking for a place to stay as Roses beach hotel has the MOST perfect location, close to everything you want but still has a feeling of remote and quiet once you are in the hotel pool garden with a marvelous view of the port . The rooms are extremely clean and special attention by Tatiana( housekeeper) makes you feel safe. The special touch of someone who cares is everywhere in this place...they left an umbrella next to our car with a note " we might need it " as we had told them we were going to Antiparos the next day, the couple who owns the place are perfect professionals as they make you feel like you are a close friend, however they never cross the boundaries and always treat you with respect and provide you with special care. Efi who was preparing breakfast is the sweetest person, and Babis who is preparing amazing cocktails in the pool bar every night is exactly what you need after a long day when you return from the beach and chill out by the pool.Even in an situation where we needed assistance with car rental gone wrong, they immidietely dealt with it and took care of it for us, providing us with a real hassle free holiday memory.

Thank you Efi and Babis for everything, keep up the good work and hope to see you again very soon !!!

I have travelled around the Greek islands extensively and in doing that, have always known what to expect after checking comments and photos in TripAdvisor. Rarely have my expectations been exceeded however, as during my recent stay at the Roses Beach Hotel in Paros, where owners Efi and Babis impressed with their cocktails, breakfast, service and simply made you feel welcome and at home. Not to mention the beautiful sea view. Definately value for money. At last a hotel who understands the long time value of investing in good quality in all kinds of aspects. We are definately going back there next year.

Nice people try to survive in the best part of Paros, clean rooms, view that cannot see because of the hight of the balconies! Breakfast very poor you cannot even order something more and pay extra. It could be a perfect place if they knew how to run it. Very expensive for what it offers.

Room Tip: 14 room is maybe the best with two balconies but all day sun exposure

I spent one week at Roses Beach and I think it's amazing!! The place is peaceful and relaxing , far from the noise of the city centre, Efi & Babis, the owners are friendly and helpful , ready to suggest beach to see, restaurants and entertainments. Rooms are quiet and very cleaN. Evertthing is perfect in this hotel and I will definitely suggest to all my friends..
