“Fantastic pasta”

The view was marveleous and the pasta was extremely good. Also the atmosphere with white building and cold blue arrangements was exiting.

“Real greek food”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 2 August 2013

it wasn't easy to find proper greek food in kos, a lot of touristic places and low quality food. we stopped on our way to Zipari to have a bite but we returned almost every night. we tried some delicious home-made plates, the owners are very polite, the prices very reasonable. a great traditional taverna offering very romantic sunsets as well

“Great Food, Great View”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 19 November 2012

Super family-run taverna with a wonderful view overlooking the North-West coast of Kos towards Kalymnos and Turkey. The delightful husband and wife team (front of house and cook, respectively) offer local meat, home-produced wine and a good range of starters. We had grilled vegetables, chick pea fritters, beetroot with skordalia, fresh wild greens (xorta), oven roasted pork with leeks and aromatic quince and apple sauce and a huge, tender sirloin steak. And of course, toasted bread with olive oil and garlic and home-made wine. Pears and quince poached in wine with ice cream followed as the complimentary dessert, and all for 39 euros!
Sadly for us, we went for lunch on their last day before closing for a short, well-deserved rest after the summer or else we would have returned another time for dinner and the spectacular night-time view. Go to Zia, for the 'touristy thing', but stop to eat at the Panorama on the way!
