Hi can i just say that i went here last year , but could nt stay . I did write a very long review explaining everything but strangely it seems to have been removed? Everything that you read about the state of the old block and the hostile and unhelpfulness of the owners are all true, and she always comes back with defensive answers even on the reviews, what happened to the customer satisfaction? Surely if you tried to help improve peoples stay it would benefit your business? When i complained to our travel company they forwarded on a response from olgas daughter that was all lies ! She always says that its because everyone booked the cheap part of the hotel ? We certainly did not, and were not offered any other room, its a huge risk to take booking here, i am sure some people get lucky, but its 50 50 on whether your holiday is ruined !

Room Tip: did nt get see any good ones

Just got back 28.9.2011
When we arrived we we where taken to the annex away from the hotel very disappointed by this, apartment was ok but not what we thought we where getting we expected a balcony with a nice view of the pool. Very very poor kitchen with hardly any crockery or cutlery nothing matched no bowls no wine glasses no cork screw . We spoke to olga about this but she wasn't very helpful so we went out and brought our own never had to do that before on holiday. You at least expect what you have at home. Spent no time at pool but it did look ok but no atmosphere beaches are nice not far away from apartment Supermarket close by with good selection . Kos town is nice and easy to get to by local buses they run very often and are cheap.I would not go to Olgas again it was not paradise.Your apartment or Hotel help make your holiday so if they are no good it can make an bad impact on your hard earned holiday.

Dark horrible apartment no air conditioning. Booked a one bed apartment with microwave etc, got one horrible room overlooking a walk through by other guests. Kitchen equipment just about none existent. Two glasses and two cups both mis matched, one very very small pan only large enough to boil an egg, one frying pan. Two ring stove. No hot water until between the hours of 12 mid day and 8 pm. One towel each, hard as nails and never changed in a week neither were the sheets even though we asked. Cleaning only the bare minimum. On flushing the toilet you had to run out of the room or your feet got soaked. Very unhelpful owner. We were told off for leaving the bathroom light on and told in no uncertain terms we had to be out of the apartment by 12md and she even came back to check. She also said the people in the next apartment were to leave that day and she would be in to pack their things and leave them outside. Not a very friendly lady is Olga. Only understands english when she feels like it. Avoid this place at all costs.

The apartment was large and basic but was fine for the price. We were in the older buildings so I do not know how they differ from the newer ones near the pool. We were expecting air conditioning (from the web site we booked with) but there was none, which for our 2 small children was a nightmare. When we arrived at 4am we were told that the room key was stuck in the door. Which meant in the morning we had to leave all our belongings in the unlocked apartment. When we questioned this the older lady who helps run things was very unhelpful and dismissive. We holiday every year in Greece & found her attitude very surprising. It wasn't fixed for another day. The towels were changed maybe once in 7 days. The sheets which were covered in mosquito blood were never changed. Oh and before I forget we never had hot water. The freezing cold showers are probably one of the lasting memories of this holiday. Apparently they did get warm around 5pm (we asked our neighbours) but we were off exploring the island & didn't want to be held in check by this. On the positive side the pool was nice as was the location, an easy cycle into Kos. But never again will we come here!! Also we were expected to buy our own toilet paper, which was a first for us. Maybe the owners should reconsider some of their practices??

My partner and I booked this holiday at the last minute and weren't really sure what to expect but were pleasantly surprised at the value for money we got at Olga's. The apartment and kitchenette were fairly basic and there is no air-conditioning but that was to be expected really (you can hire a fan from reception if you want it) . The apartment was cleaned every day and was spacious enough. No sign of the cockroaches described in the other reviews! The staff were extremely friendly and nothing was a problem. The pool is excellent - clean and a good size - and was pretty much empty most of the time meaning there wasn't the usual early-morning rush for sun loungers. If you're looking for good value for money then this place comes highly recommended.

We had a fantastic holiday with Olga and Dina. Both of them were more than helpful to us during our stay, organising taxis, transfers, recommending restauarnts and beaches etc.

We spent alot of time around the pool and always found it to be very clean and quiet, at some points there was only us there! However there are beaches near by and some fantastic sandy beaches if you are prepared to travel a little bit further.

The room we stayed in was clean and we had no problems with cockroaches even though we were staying in the garden part. The apartments are on a quiet road so no noise problems either.

Overall we had a fantastic holiday, enjoyed the cocktails and mythos and we're looking forward to visiting again soon!

Arrived 24 hours after leaving East Midlands airport (that's another story) to find that we had been shoved in a dark and dingy so called 'apartment', nothing like the one seen on other websites and with broken air con. Olga offered a downgrade to a studio but also demanded a stunning 140 euros for 14 days air con (this price was never quoted to us by the holiday company). No reduction in price was offered for the downgrade, no negotiation possible. Got on the phone to the holiday company and that resulted in an upgrade to the apartment pictured on the web. There only appeared to be 3 apartments in the complex that matched the images on the web.
Still had to pay 140 Euros, which was ridiculous, particularly when we discovered the hotel across the road only charged 5 Euros a day! We did over hear some Italian guests complain about the cost, which ended in a row with the Italians refusing to pay the whole cost. We guess their air con would have been turned off after the money ran out!
Olga did warn us that this new apartment was over the bar but is was not the guests who were noisy, it was her high heeled daughter (constantly walking on the tiles) and the yapping dogs. She often chatted loudly to 2 or 3 in the morning. The hotel rules said please respect guests and be quiet after 10pm but they blatantly ignored this rule to suit themselves, "...I don't bloody care what time it is..." we overheard from the daughter late one night. She also was an expert on everything especially after a few drinks. This 'noise' was so unprofessional and undermined our holiday.
The cockroaches! We had a few but Olga's reply was, "...it is hot, they fly..". No they don't! They come up the drain into your tiny bathroom. This could have been dealt with but service was something Olga and family didn't understand. There was no information, no help, and the food served was only available on a limited timescale.
The pool was very nice apart from some English who insisted in floating around on lylos and dominating the pool. The sun beds did not come with any cushions.

Luckily the hotel across the road (Yiannis apartments) came to our rescue. They were very friendly and helpful, had a small bar and served good snacks all day. They helped us with car hire, info about the island and couldn't do enough to be welcoming, even though we were not staying with them.
Olga's paradise apartments could be really good under new management. We intend to complain to the holiday company. By the end of the 2 weeks Olga began to be a bit friendlier. When we were leaving she told us we would be welcome to come back again. Too little too late!
