Have just returned from spending a very pleasant week at this Hotel. Clean and friendly and the rooms spacious. Lovely location. Staff extremely friendly and helpful and its location by the harbour delightful.
Front rooms overlook harbour and rear rooms a courtyard garden - which mine was - but had a peaceful and sunny balcony.
TV chanels very limited even though SKY advertised and No kettle in room so take your own if you need to make a cuppa and not staying in an apartment.
Overall though would recommend.

Room Tip: Whilst front rooms overlook harbour and the main harbour road - rear rooms are quiet and mine had su...

Stayed at this hotel 06th May 2012. As a former travel agent, I sometimes despair at some hotel reviews. This hotel has one of the best locations overlooking the harbour. Yes, it is a predominantly european hotel - and if you want to be babysat by a holiday rep, this is not the place for you! There is a good choice of food for breakfast, catering for all nationalities. I found the staff extremely helpful, especially if you remember your manners!! The harbour view rooms are fantastic - but this hotel is fronted by a road and the fishermen take their boats out at all hours, so of course there can be some noise. The bathroom was a little dated - but adequate enough. The hotel doesn't really cater for children, so take this into consideration if your little ones need entertaining! The beach (coarse sand/shingle) is 5 mins walk away and the beachfront bars each have their own sunbeds and small stretch of beach.
Overall this is one of the best quality hotels I have visited and will definitely be returning.

Room Tip: If opting for the harbour view rooms - take into consideration the possible noise and activity.

Stayed at this hotel in September for 1 week with hubby. Hotel has a fantastic location, great food and very exceptional staff. We had a room that wasn't suitable for us when we arrived but the staff gave us a room overlooking the harbour, perfect! The staff were very very friendly and couldn't do enough for you.

Room Tip: Only 3 floors but try and get a room overlooking harbour, not noisy and great fun for posh boat watc...

This hotel has a name that suggests it to be good. The room itself had a great view,we had only a wardrobe to hang 4 items of clothing but no cubbards. The pillows where dirty and under the bed was never swept during the time of our stay. The beds where ok but hard. The breakfast area is just great to sit outside with a great view, but the breakfast itself is just average. the staff are friendly and the hotel is very central with lots of great places to eat nearby.

We were walk in guests of the hotel after having a less than favourable experience at another establishment. We found the room clean, and the view of the inner harbour(across the street)wonderfull. The breakfast was fresh and had a good selection. The location couldn't be improved on,being right in town, with a beach very near by.The rooftop pool was also a plus.We will be back.
