Visit this familyrun inn located all by itself at the beach on the little island of Tilos. They serve homecooked meals (made by grandma) with a great atmosphere. Eat the goat you heard earlier that morning! Just down the driveway is the beach, a good mile or so by yourself. When you're tired of the beach, take a hike up the mountain along the goat tracks, and explore the area.
Eristos Beach Hotel Is located on the small island of Tilos, about 1km from the port of Livadia. You get to Livadia by ferry from Rhodes Town. In Livadia there are some restaurants and shops, a tiny harbourtown, busy during summer and slow in the winter. There are at least two different places to rent scooters, to get around the island. The island has one main road, with possibilities to explore. Dont worry about getting lost, the road you're on is about to come to a stop - the longest, and main, is about 14km long.
Things to see while driving around - Micro Chorio, the abandoned village, which now sports a full fledged bar. Take a left and follow the dirt road, it's located in the hillsides between Livadia and Megalo Chorio.
If you drive to the far end of the road, you'll find the monastery of St Panteleimon, of course it's worth a look.
Stop for lunch in Megalo Chorio, and take the hike up to the old fortress on top of the hill above Megalo Chorio.
Then you're about done, enjoy you stay with swimming, hiking and tanning. Relax and enjoy lazy days in one of Greece's small lost islands.
