“Great site but......”
Reviewed 4 July 2014

After visiting the site of Ancient Kamiros, which was very interesting and the view was spectacular, we sure were taking fools at the cafenio (not part of the site) it is separate , we have to make that clear. We were charged Euro 3.50 for a small bottle of water (yes 3.50 Euro) and 4.00 euro each for a can of lemonada and an ice tea. Quite surprised that they can get away with that. Just a heads up, enjoy the site but......

“Great Ancient Site”
Reviewed 3 July 2014

This is one of the three important ancient cities of Rhodes. The ruins are in good shape and you can get a real sense of how the town must have been. Climb through the ruins to the top to get great views of the coastline and other directions, then circle back along the ridge to see the town ruins from above.
We hired a car in Rhodes and made this part of a loop, stopping in Lindos first. It is located just off of the main road running down the west coast
It is a quite hot here, since there is little shade, but there is a snack bar and toilets.

Impressive ancient site with stunning views over the sea. Ask for an information leaflet at the entrance.

“A great historical site”
Reviewed 25 June 2014

We hired a car and drove here from Rhodes town, its a nice drive hugging the coast all the way and takes about 1hr. 4 Euros for an adult entrance fee and well worth it. Walking among the ancient stones and visualising how this town would have been over 2250 years ago is worth the effort. As you climb up the site you are rewarded with great views in all directions. We spoke to one of the staff at the top of the site, he was very helpful and answered all of our questions. It was very hot and there is no shade. The snack bar was slightly expensive as two tins of soda cost 6 Euro
