We found it difficult to fault any of the restaurants in Parga, but sometimes you just need something that offers an alternative to Greek food and pasta. Aegis certainly hits the mark. The menu is really varied, and the location is super. It was very busy when we ate here, just sneaking a table at 9.45pm, and the staff were up against it, but this just gave us time to enjoy their gorgeous house rose and red wine, enjoying time between courses. I had the feta wrapped in Filo and honey, followed by pork fillet with a pomegranate and honey sauce, with carrots, courgette and sautéed potatoes, my husband had the Corfu specialty, Sofrito, but we can't remember the starter! Extremely well priced, including free tapenade and olives to start and an ouzo to finish. So pleased we chose to eat here, and such a fabulous location as well.

We were for holidays in Parga and we went to Aegis for dinner. We found it through Tripadvisor and thought it might worth the visit.

In contract with most of the restaurants in the area, it is not touristic. Food is really good, in appearance and taste. Also prices are reasonable. I would definitely suggest this place.

The only negative is that you have to wait a bit until you find a table, but this happens usually in good restaurants..

The Aegis is an outstanding restaurant: its food and white house wine are excellent. We loved our dishes; I had “chicken pasta with cream and mushrooms;” my partner “chicken a la Grec.” I only wished my appetite had not been hampered by previous meals to really enjoy our meal. For this was one of our best meals in Parga.

The restaurant is new and well designed. The staff are equally professionally turned out and the service also friendly, efficient non-intrusive. I liked the paper mats with their poems and historical detail on Parga. We ate our meals late at night watching the comings and goings of lighted boats silently moving to and from Valtos Beach.

They forgot to add a half a litre of wine to the bill and were grateful to have this pointed out to them. Our only regret was having tried out Aegis so late in our holiday. We returned the next day only to find that they were closed during the afternoons.

This was probably my favourite meal in Parga.

Without doubt the best restaurant in Parga, really felt like we was "out" for a meal rather than just having dinner. Family run business 10/10

This restaurant was by far the best in Parga that we sampled. Its on the harbour front but away from the busy part. The tables are not crammed in like some are. The owner of this taverna is also the owner of the local olive oil museum which is fab to visit to. We eat at Aegis on 3 occasions and the food is superb especially the smoked salmon tagliatelle.....On our last night which was a Satuday night we did reserve a table but it was always busy. The manager is such a nice man and his wife is a waitress and their son a waiter aswell. Such a nice family. Prices very good aswell with a free little shot at the end which was lovely too. You won't be disappointed with this restaurant, it was SIMPLY THE BEST..
