We found this place on the net and it sounded perfect. Then after booking and paying for it we decided to investigate it abit more. The reviews we read were terrible, seriously! We tried to cancell but couldnt so said to ourselves that we would go but expect little. Getting there we were pleasantly suprised. We could understand that for those that had paid £800 for 2 for the week would be angry. Its not 5 star. The rooms to be fair are comfortable. We only ever had a problem with the water being cold once, and that was because I turned the tap the wrong way! We went at the end of season. Alot of the reviews were made in the middle of season. The beech is down a steep slope and you cant take your hire car down there. There is a 6 seater bus that goes every half hour to and from the beach and if there are more than 6 waiting then he comes back for you.
Didnt have a problem with the food, always fresh. Loads of salad and the hot food was hot.
The only warning I would give is that there isnt alot to do without a hire car, unless, like us you just want to get away from it all and lay on the beach. There is a lovely little bar at the beach that does some pretty good food, and also at the top of the hill there are 2 tavernas. The one on the left abit further up was fantastic with a proper greek night put on for us... well worth a visit. And he takes plastic, the hotel doesnt.
I wouldnt say this was the worst holiday Iv been on. It was what we wanted. Just be sure to stay away during peek season and you wont have a problem.... just dont expect 5 star. Happy holidaying!!!!
