Positives...
Nice location within Sidari area
Pool area is lovely
Rooms are cleaned well
George is friendly and helpful
Free pool table
Negatives...
No TV in the rooms
No shower curtain or shower holder to stop the water from going everywhere
Other issues...
Sidari is not a true Greek resort, very tacky, you get pestered when you walk down the strip to go into the bars and restaurants, the nightlife is full of 2nd rate tribute acts. The beach is filthy. Go to Sidari water park, 5e a day, which is good value and the 3 main rides pass a couple of hours away

This was one of my favourite holidays so far. I went with my mum and dad for 2 weeks in the summer of 2012. The weather was wonderful, constantly sunny, but not to over-bearing.
The beach is 1 minutes away from the hotel. The hotel owners are so kind, and any question we had they would answer for us.
Its a 2 minute walk from the main strip, where there are tons of restaurants, shops and bars. I urge people to try the Mexican Restaurant where you get to where sombrebo hats :) which was a really fun experience.
I would reccommend going to Aqua land for the day which is the biggest water-park in Europe. It was an amazing day out.
I would also reccommend trying the Baywatch boat hire which is located on the beach right near to the resort. You are able to take small boat out on your own (which is very easy to drive), and it is very cheap to do so. The same company also offer a range of water sport activities.
The beach is a lovely place to spend the day, plus if you need any refreshments that is a little corner shop near by. You have to pay to use the sunbeds and umbrellas that are available but this is very cheap, and it is worthwhile, as it can get quite hot during the peak fo the day.
The only bad thing I would have to say about this holiday was the dripping air conditioner in my mum and dads room, which dripped through out the night, so eventually they came and staying in my room for the rest of our holiday.
Overall this was an amazing holiday, and I am so happy to be returning again this summer! :)

We had a pleasant stay at the Anemona apartments in July 2012 (Husband and son and i). We paid extra to use the aircon and we needed it! The apartments are very basic but clean! The beds are like concrete slabs and very uncomfortable! We did not use any of the crockery in these apartments the cup were mugs that didnt match stained inside and chipped! We bought a couple of mugs in the resort and left theirs in the cupboard with the ants that got into anything you didnt have wrapped up! So as you can guess we only had drinks and didnt bother making meals! We only had one meal at the Anemona wasnt impressed better breakfasts in Sidari! The pool at the Anemona was nice but everything white that went into it turned green! but the frogs liked to bathe in it at night! Be warned when you get of the coach you have a long walk up a concrete track to the apartments and we had to wait in the hot sun to be picked up! it was a bit uncomfortable when you are waiting to go home. Five minute walk round a dangerous bend into resort were all the tavernas are trying to coax you in made for good competition and kept the prices down but still had nice food! was cheap here but the resort sprung to life at 11pm we were told we could take our 14 year old into the night clubs if we wanted just laughed and went to bed let the twentys brigade to themselves anything goes after midnight!

Room Tip: Go somewere else only thing was its quiet here?

The apartments are located up a track about 150 metres off the main road. The location is good as it is a short walk in to the town for the bars and restaurants. The rooms were very clean and bar area was good, the pool area was always clean and we had no problems getting a sunbed during the day. Sidara is a lovely area to stay in, we hired a car and also ventured out around the island.

Me and my boyfriend returned back from Sidari the beginning of October 2012 after a weeks holiday. Both in our 20's we really enjoyed ourselves. Anemona apartments were lovely, clean and well situated a 5min walk away from 'the strip' as we liked to call it. We found a variety of age groups staying there but overall quiet and we met a lovely, friendly older couple. George was a brilliant host and a job was never to big or small for him as my boyfriend's lock broke on his suitcase 1 hour after we had arrived we noticed, very hot and just wanting to get into swimming wear and sit by the pool. George came to his rescue and got the lock open. Beer and drinks around the pool were good value for money, however the food you can get more for your money in the town but food was still nice. The only downfalls of the holiday were a 3hour transfer journey around and down the mountains to get to the apartments from the airport, grateful for the expertise driving skills from the driver and the sight seeing of albania but it is definatly not for the faint hearted to look down 'we were the 8th drop off'. The mozzi's - strongly advise mosquito repalent and the wasps were a pain.. Before the holiday I had a fear of them by the end of the hoilday they didnt bother me as I was so fed up of wafting them away. There were also lots of cats in the area and one of George's cats.. although she was very sweet she wanted to sit on your chair next to you whilst you were eating, to wait for left overs and cleverly knew that you had ordered food by the ketchup & mayo bottle on your table, she suddenly appeared from no where. Ok the shower head we had to hold up and the beds were abit hard but for a cheap hoilday and the apartments were kept clean and you were secure you cant really moan not for the price we paid at a late deal anyway. View from the back of the apartments there were approx six lovely horses that appeared very well looked after however on numerous occasions were left with empty buckets of water till late in the day in hot temps. I would highly recommend sunset to eat, beautiful breakfast and food also free sundbeds on the beach when u ate there. Madison bar.. Beautiful food and great entertainment - tribute bands especially the reggae and ska tribute along with brilliant service. Cactus jacks not worth a visit we were disapointed as ate here on the first night after reading good reviews but we found it dirty, lots of fly's the food was nothing special and service was poor. Dont expect many shops only souvenir and your basic supermarket one's which my other half was very happy about :) but a trip to corfu we heard was worthwhile for shopping. A visit to cala d'amour 15 min walk away 'the most' from the apartments where we found private small beaches 'not nudist' and bars with swimming pool's, caves with the sea shallow water quite far out PERFECT for those who are not a fan of the sea like me, you can see what and where you were treading and the water was very clear although there were fish that everybody thought were the pedicure fish they use in salon's as they sucked and tickled at your skin 'free pedicure though' the caves had clay beneath them that people found therapeutic applying it to their skin. A pedalo was fantastic for sight seeing the amazing caves and crystal clear water 10 euros an hour. Kelly's icecream's 'i think it was called' is worth spending a couple of euro's on an icecream. We booked the water park from a tour guide shop on the strip as it was alot cheaper than booking with the rep, not the best water park but still a fun day out. Overall it was a fantastic holiday and the positives outweighed the negatives, we would definatly return.

Room Tip: The 2nd and 3rd floor apartments are upstairs only and with heavy cases was a struggle although help...

george the host was truly lovely. the position of the resort is perfect, very quiet with only 5 min walk to the busy town area. we went as a group of 6 and had a great holiday to celebrate my sister in laws 50th birthday. but i wouldnt like to take young children as its a bit grubby and the beaches are unkept. on a positive note its quite cheap to eat out you get a tan and have a break for a reasonable price.

Room Tip: avoid the ground floor as ther are many ferral cats hanging around

We have just returned from these apartments & all though very very basic but very clean. Yes we did have a problem with the shower having no holder but we soon found a remedy, also don't take anything into the bathroom that you don't want to get wet.
They are in a very quite spot, no traffic. The atmosphere was vey friendly. Only ever put my feet in the pool, it felt very cold. The BBQ night was excellent.
George works very hard but forgets things so keep reminding him.
We use the. Restaurant at the end of the road Capp something or other & found this excellent & very good value for money.
The Cosmos rep Jackie was very helpful.
