“Fabulous Anemona”
Reviewed 3 July 2014

Stayed at the Anemona from 16th to 30th June we had two ground floor studios numbers 15 & 16 and were a party of 4 adults and two children aged 4 and 3. We were not expecting too much when we arrived however we were very pleasantly surprised. Although basic studios were spacious and very clean. Location of apartments fab with beach at the end of the lane and strip few minutes walk away. Super Market at the bottom of the lane. George the manager and Effi who worked the kitchen very pleasant and always very helpful. Katarina the cleaner always singing. I have never been on holiday and felt so safe. Mosquito nets on patio doors to balcony great, really worked and stopped those bites!! Danielle the Cosmos Rep was really great with the children and nothing was too much trouble for her. Even when we bumped into her on her night off she still went out of her way to spend some time with us and the children. For a cheap and cheerful holiday in a great location, lovely pool, plenty of sunbeds then the Anemona will be for you. Food in the resort is very reasonably priced and there is a great variety. Mainly traditional greek dishes however the Cargo Bar on the strip do a great Sunday Roast and a few English dishes if you really fancy it. We tried a different Greek Dish every night and the food was excellent. We had a really lovely holiday and will definitely return.....maybe even next year which is something we would never usually do!. The only thing I would say is that the snack bar could offer a better variety and some toys or simple activities for children would be useful, however our children were happy to play in the pool all day so we cannot really complain. There was also loads of entertainment of an evening on the strip if you wanted it however there were also more quieter traditional tavernas too.....Sidari something for everyone suitable for all ages.

Room Tip: We were in rooms 15 & 16 and used to just hop over the wall into the pool. All rooms are fine I...

First time to Greece not disappointed stayed 16/06/2014--23/06/2014 what can i say that assent bean said before the apartments good cleaned every day all the staff friendly would stop and have a chat none better stayed in room 12 ground floor could leave your doors open all day with the mossy net down no fear of break in and leave open on a night with curtain drawn to keep cool bed hard but my wife liked them she slept like log what i paid for a weeks holiday £269 for 2,short notice was not expecting much, how wrong i was sidari as every thing you could want night life or quiet
breakfast every morning at the pool bar went to eat out every night 5 different restaurants food great price really good put weight on, the walk from the apartment down a lane 2min to the beach 4 mins to the night life, can be a bit dark walking back up the lane late at night but no problems apartments very quiet day and night, cannot knock these apartments great
1 negative point the coach ride from the airport don't sit behind the driver, the driver we had, had is mobile stuck to is ear most of the time and was driving with one hand some of them bends were tight and on a hill side i don't scare easy but he was doing a good job of it saying that had a good time ,will be back

Again another late booking with Cosmos (16/06/2014 - 23/06/2014), five of us for £124.30 each! Got to say the the Anemona apartments were excellent, large spacious rooms cleaned & beds made each day, friendly staff and a superb pool area, just metres away from our two ground floor studios. Would not hesitate to recommend to anyone. Also a mention for the Cosmos rep, very professional and efficient, sorted a minor airport issue without any fuss.

Stayed here 9th - 16th June 2014, last min booking for myself and husband ( Cosmos £267 for the 2 of us ) and we were not disappointed, the coach from the airport was quite long (2 hours or so), you are also dropped off at the end of the road as the coach is to large to take you up the path that leads to the accommodation ( only a minute walk ) and has fields on each side with horses in, and it is well lit for you at night, when we got to the apartments we were greeted by George who runs the place, he carried our cases to our top floor room ( only 3 floors ) we had room 35, with a view overlooking the pool and sea in the distance, the rooms are all the same apart from one or two bedrooms, they all overlook the pool and have a good size balcony with french double doors, and also a mosquito roller blind that pulls down the full width and length of the doors so you can have them open all day and night without the mozzies eating you, which was great for us, as although the weather was hot 29-32 we managed without air con and put the mozzie blind down, kept the doors open and enjoyed the night breeze, as the beds are next to the doors, the room is large with 3 beds, ( which are hard, if you have the room take your own pillows as i think this would help you sleep a little better as the pillows were also hard and flat ) 2 bedside cupboards a dressing table, wardrobe, table & chairs, cooker with 2 hobs, grill and oven, a full size fridge pots pans crockery cutlery and a kettle, the bathroom is a good size with a small shower, from talking to the other guests we were lucky with our shower as we had a curtain rail and a brand new shower curtain, some people had none, we also had read the reviews before we went and decided to take gaffer tape with us to tape the shower to the curtain pole so we had a shower that we could stand under it worked great, the rooms are spotless and the cleaning lady comes in everyday except Sunday.
The pool is clean and enough sunbeds to go around.
The food and drink served in the bar is very good and cheap, BBQ on Friday night 10 euros each.
2 min walk to the beach but if you walk a little further to the left towards the town there are better beaches and the sunbeds are free if you buy drinks from the bars they belong to.
The town comes to life at night and is only a couple of minuets walk, tribute bands in every bar, we saw some great ones, Abba Girls, Motown, Scar, all fantastic, Booze and food cheap.

Must say well done to George, he runs about all day long looking after the guests and apartments i hope the owner pays him well because he deserves every penny he gets Keep up the good work.

one last thing we got the holiday cheap, but some had paid over £700 for the week, i would want better beds for that kind of money, i would give the apartments a good 3 Star but better beds would make you 4 Star, if you can get this place cheap GO FOR IT, you won't regret it.

Room Tip: Room 35 was great, sea view, and evening breeze.

enjoyable whether a couple or a family. very close to the main street. pool is not very busy and always has spare spaces. very clean with clean sheets every day apart from Sunday. another good thing is that you pay only 5 euros for the whole week to keep your money/passports in a safe

Room Tip: top floor, middle rooms. no-one is overlooking if you pop out to have a skinny cup of coffee in the...

Had a great time at the Anemona Apartments. Lovely setting, quiet but just a short walk to the bars and restaurants on offer in Sidari.

Good self catering rooms and very clean, cleaners there every day and beds made. Lovely pool and generally great atmosphere.

What makes this place special is George the most famous barman/waiter/everything on trip adviser. His warmth and hospitality made it for us and would reccommend Anemona to anyone.
