High quality services with a wide range of options for everyone. The roof garden is excellent with a great menu and and a very classy restaurant. We had very relaxing moments in the spa and then enjoyed drinks down town at Thessaloniki, due to the fact that the hotel is only few minutes from the center. Last but not least, regards for the unique and innovative taste and the fabulous selection of all that mondern art pieces! I would definetely visit the Met again... and again... and again

A beautiful Hotel in an industrial zone. This seems strange but when you get into the lobby everything looks fantastic.Warm people, good service, stylish areas and the best part great rooms.
Especially the beds....just perfect. You can't ignore of course the beautiful roof garden and the pool. The city looks different from up there, especially during evening.
The best hotel in Thessaloniki by far.

This is a hotel that is surprisingly luxurious and friendly. The indoor and outdoor pools are deluxe, the staff is friendly, helpful and incredibly accommodating and the food is excellent. The included breakfast is the best breakfast you will find in Greece. It's not in a great location, but the hourly shuttle drops you off in the center of town and takes you back. Highly recommend.

There's a lot to like about this hotel. The rooms are comfortable, the free WiFi is fast, the included breakfast is outstanding, and the rooftop bar and pool make for an excellent escape. It's well suited for small conferences, with good meeting space. Rooms have a modern "design", so you won't find a comfortable chair that is well situated for watching the TV screen, and you can expect the shower to flood the bathroom. But there's a desk with plenty of lighting, along with a power outlet that is well hidden behind the mirror over the desk. If you don't mind paying €5 for a Coke, or €9 to have a shirt laundered, there's no reason to leave the hotel. Indeed, you are out in the middle of nowhere, a few km west of the city center across from the docks and an area that may once have seen better times. The only "neighbors" are a branch of an electronics store and a branch of Jumbo, which combines the worst features of Walmart, Dollar Tree, and Ikea in a jumble of cheap "Made in China" junk. In the other direction, there are a couple of auto dealerships and a mini-market, where you can buy soft drinks at a more reasonable price to keep in your room mini-fridge.

If you want to do some sightseeing or shopping, the hotel runs a shuttle to the city center about once an hour (or you can take the public 31 bus, which stops nearby). Taxis are easily available, too. If you are going to the airport, leave plenty of time, since the hotel is on the opposite side of the city from the airport, and traffic can be heavy in the city center.

Would I return here? Doubtful, even if I were attending a conference in the hotel. It's not because of the hotel itself, but rather its location, since I like the idea of being somewhere where I can explore my destination more than is easily possible at The Met. To me, it felt as if the owners of The Met got an irresistible deal (and probably a tax break) on the land in an economically-depressed area, built the hotel, and hoped that people would come.

Dear Sir,

Thank you for writing your comments after your stay here at The Met Hotel.

We were delighted to read that you enjoyed your time with us and will make sure to pass on your positive input to our team. I am sorry that the shops across our property are not to your taste and please let me note that our free shuttle service to aristotelous square (that is 1,8 km from the hotel and not a few kms ) gives access to hundrends shops , that i am confident can match any need or background.
Concerning our prices , let me note that are in line with any property similar to ours .
Being in an area with its challenges I totally understand the need of people to stay in a city center , but please before speculating favorable tax returns or low land prices note that The Met land was bought before the economic recession and although our economy suffers we try our best to meet our guest needs .

We spent a gorgeous couple of days here relaxing with friends and out children. The pool is lovely on the roof. Sunbathers make way for a restaurant up there after 7 ish. The food was good and the stmosphere relaxed luxury.
The rooms are small but bathrooms fab.
The breakfast buffet was a highlight. Quite, classy, rustic and healthy.
The reception sets the scene for what is a compact but classy luxurious very modern hotel/

We stayed for a long weekend in The Met Thessaloniki and had the best time ever.
The Reception-team would help us at any time and they were so friendly, the rooms
were very tidy, seldom had a room which was cleaned so perfectly by the housekeeping.
Then there was Dimitra who always looked out for us, if it was up at the Pool or downstairs
at the breakfast buffet, she was great!! The Hotel is very modern and very clean.
We ate had dinner once in the Restaurant Avenue 48, the food was outstanding and the service
was great like everywhere in the Hotel.
We will be back for sure!! The Met was one of the best Hotels I have ever stayed in!!

A modern lifestyle hotel with nice interior and a very delicious breakfast buffet. The staff was always helpful and kind. As well- not to forget- the roof top garden/pool is extraordinary. The hotel is not situated directly in the city centre but easy accessible with the hotel owned shuttle bus or by taxi (approximately 4-5 €).
