Clean and tidy.Located at a position that gives you easy access to the center of the city is a good value for money choice. Friendly and helpful personnel make your staying pleasant and relaxed.
We would gladly spend some time there again.

My partner and I stayed at the Engatia Hotel for three nights during the IAPSS World Congress. The hotel staff were attentive, helpful and happy to answer questions that they had surely been asked several dozen times already by other students throughout the day. Our 3rd floor room was spacious enough to not feel confined and was clean and well presented. The highlight of the stay was the incredible buffet breakfast provided which included cakes, tinned peaches and fruit on top of the usual contintental hotel provisions.
With the hotel a short 10 minute walk from the coastal resurants and sights I would definitely recommend this hotel for those visiting Thessaloniki.

We stayed for 3 nights in 3 single rooms. The hotel is in a great location, easy walking distance from the main sights of Thessaloniki. Our single rooms were certainly on the small side (the 3 rooms varied in size, mine was the smallest!) but they were clean and comfortable. The decor is getting a bit tired and could do with updating, but bearing in mind the price the rooms were nicer than I expected. I had plugged my phone charger into the socket next to the bed and in doing so the head rest fell away from the wall; I'm not sure whether I broke it or if it was like that already, but when I returned to the room later that day an extension cable had been put there and the head rest fixed, without me having to say anything (i'd intended to report it to reception that evening - it was nice not to have to).The continental breakfast buffet was nice enough, my only comment would be that perhaps a new coffee machine would be a good investment. The staff were really friendly, especially (who I assume was) the manager. This is not a luxurious hotel and the price reflects this - if you are on a budget, intend to spend most of your time exploring this wonderful city rather than in your room and you're looking for a centrally located, clean, comfortable, friendly and safe hotel then this is a great option. If you're looking for large opulent and modern rooms, then you need to look elsewhere and pay a lot more!

It is very inappropriate to go downstairs to the lobby just to ask for toilet paper, because there was no in the room. quite dirty, although there was a very helpful maid that was cleaning all the time. i would recomend it only to buisness travelers and for just one night... anything more than this is just waste of time in this beautiful city.

Very good hotel in center of Thessaloniki. There is a free parking lots on the street in front of the hotel. The rooms are small but very clean.
Receptionist are very polite and friendly.
One of the main street "Egnatia" is 2 min. from the hotel, "Tsimiski"-the shoping street is 5 min from the hotel.
I recomend this hotel to every one.

It's a nice hotel for the price offered. Don't expect much, but is clean, the beds are all right, and even though the surrounding area hasn't got much to see, it is pretty close to Aristotelous squear, ladadika, port, market and the rest of Salonica's main attractions.
The rooms on the other hand are quite small.
The breakfast is good, and the staff is helpful and friendly.
To sum up, it is a good choice for a small budget.

From the warm greeting two travel worn visitors got to the keeping of our baggage after we checked out for another day of sightseeing before our midnight flight we were treated warmly. As we walked out one evening for dinner in a light drizzle without an umbrella the manager saw our predicament and offered one. During the strike management went out of their way to help us decide how far and the right directions for our walks. Their attentiveness and service was way above what one would normally find at the price point of this hotel

So the room was small, this is Europe, and was big enough for 2 men with luggage and business accouterment. Housekeeping service was excellent, done as needed and meticulous. Breakfast was more than adequate with a range of pastry, breads, cheese, meat, dry cereal, some fruit, yogurt, etc. The juices and coffee were not what I am accustomed to were my only complaints.

Location across the street from a pastry/chocolate shop open from 7 to 11, near a taxi stand, up the street from Greek and Starbucks coffee shops, a block from an ATM, a block from many bus stops, near restaurants and across from a killer late night gyro joint made for ease of a visit. All in all an excellent location.

Randomly: WIFI was fast on the 5th floor. Lots of hot water. A balcony allowed for standing outside for a great view of the protest parade passing the hotel. The large opening window was wonderful for a breathe of fresh air.

Rarely does one get more than they have paid for or expect. I recommend this hotel without reservation, save the coffee and juice for breakfast. Stay, you will not be disappointed.
