It’s a great monument. Who likes history must visit it. The mosaics are in good conditions and worth the visit and price, only 1€.

Many years it has not been possible to see this fantastic historical monument from inside, but now (the rest of) beautiful mosaic works are preserved and presented by a high professional video!
it is a diffrent chapel that is must see the inside is big and the coulers are intresting most is empty accept one side
One of the must sees in this often overlooked city. It is very close to the Triumphal Arch of Galerius and so there is no excuse for seeing one and not the other.
The Rotunda is not surprisingly round and dates from early times (about 4th century). It was built either as a temple or as a mausoleum to Galerius.
It's worth reading, at least a little, of the history of the building before visiting as that way they will appreciate it better.
Once inside we found it peaceful and away from the hustle and bustle of the city - it also helped that we visited when there were no organised trips visiting so I'd suggest you go during mid to late afternoon.
Admission charges are extremely cheap about 4 euro I seem to remember.
This building is a must see. It is good value and only takes a 20 mins to half an hour if you are on a walking tour. It is near the arch so you can see both. The mosaics inside are amazing and well preserved.
must be visited when in Thessaloniki. a huge building is amazing. Must read the history of this interesting place before visiting.
