“OK but not what I expected”
3 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 2 June 2014

Quite small room but I would consider it ok for a single room. Very clean and with a minimal atmospere. Too minimal actually since none of the basic luxuries that are described where provided. Only liquid soap that was given in a glass where I had to dip my hand to take some.
Service at the reception was good and welcoming! Paid 50 euro, definitely not worth to pay!

I stayed at Astoria Hotel in May with a group of 15 people on a business trip. The place was perfect, we were very happy with the service. Great value for money, perfect location. The rooms were clean and spacious.

A/c not working , no room service, the room is not clean at all. The best thing in the hotel is the wifi. Dot try this horrible hotel. Too expensive for the hotel condition (70 € night). You cannot sleep at all all over the night

You really cannot beat the location! It is within close walking distance to the Aristotles Square, the White Tower, Statue of Alexander the Great, shops, public transportation, so many restaurants, the harbor and Ladadika nightlife neighborhood. The room I booked was a small, economy room and very sufficient for 2 people. The bed left much to be desired. Very flat, thin and stiff, it had fresh linen so it did the job to rest and get back to sightseeing. Had a view of a neighboring hotel, no complaints. The hotel was clean, friendly staff, great service, and even offered a simple, but nice & light Greek style breakfast. Also, it was nice that they offered free wi-fi. Depending on traffic, it's a quick ride from the Airport maybe 15 min or so. Perea beach is just on the other side of the airport, so it's possible in a taxi.

The location of the hotel is very central and I consider it as an excellent value for money solution when visiting Thessaloniki. Nearby there are plenty of nice restaurants with good food. Very friendly staff. Highly recommended.

Clean hotel and rooms are decently sized. Is located a few blocks from the center of the city which i enjoyed because it provided a little getaway from the noise when you want a nap. The breakfast spread is big and loved waking up and enjoying Greek yogurt and Greek honey and fruits every morning. My only complaint is the pillows, I would recommend asking the front desk for a few extra.

fast in and out checking and friendly helpful staff.
