Egnatia Palace is an excellent choice in the center of Thessaloniki. The hotel is very conveniently located, the room was very good and quiet, the breakfast offered many choices. Generally, it was a 4 star hotel with all its amenities.

It could be a good 3 star hotel! Definately its not a 4 star hotel as the room we stayed seemed to be old and not renovated. In addition the price is too high for the whole experience.
The breakfast was small and the big disappointment was that in order to use the pool you have to pay 10 euros per use. But when we booked the room we didnt informed about that.
Renovate the rooms!

The location is perfect for sightseeing. Within walking distance to all main sights, decent restaurants, waterfront, main squares etc, but also facing the busy Egnatia Street, so if you like me have a room to the street, it is very noisy. Very!
Not sure how it got it's four star rating. To me it is a three star. Very small flatscreen tv in room, internet (free) is slow and connection not very good.
The gym and pool area is a joke. Smallest hotel pool I have ever seen, sloghtly bigger than a bathtub.
Breakfast was ok, basic selection of breads, a few hot dishes, cold cuts, cakes, fruits.
Friendly and helpful staff.

The hotel is centrally located within 80 m of a bus station, 5 mins walk to aristotelou square, 2 mins walk to a free parking in the parc, 8 mins walk to Agios Dimitrios, Agia Sophia and the rotunda. Bad lighting inside the room, they are not able to have non smoking rooms. Helpful staff.

We stayed in Egnatia Palace hotel in presidential suite for 2 nights and enjoyed it. We had two very spacious rooms with the huge terrace overlooking squire. The bathroom was big and clean. Even though our suite was next to elevator we did not hear any noise from it or from down the street. The breakfast was of a great variety and quality. Service was excellent. Location is right in the center of the city, within walking distance to almost everything.

Location of this hotel is excellent for museums and water front. We booked a junior suite so were expecting a little luxury. We were a little dissapointed. We have booked city hotels before and had much more spacious and luxury feeling hotels than the Eganatia palace. The room was clean and room service was excellent, the room safe was not big enough to fit an iPad so could not secure it when we were out. The room decor was old fashioned. The breakfast room was a lttle dark with only one window for natural light. I think it's prices are unrealiatic for what was on offer.
