The Hotel is well located (you can walk in 5 min to Olympia but are out of it), the swimming pool is really nice but there is some drawback :
This is a hotel for groups staying one night so you have lot of coming and going and moving beds, etc...
The restaurant is not good at all, it's, I think, only frozen products. The breakfast however is good.
We ended up with a good room but after changing it 2 times, be careful, the rooms on the ground floor (left of the bar) are very bad, especially because of the humidity, there is mold on the walls and ceiling, this is very dangerous, especially for children.

We were on the very beginning of the season so the hotel was preparing all the equipment but I think it must be quite nice during summer, just choose carefully your room and have diner outside.

Room Tip: The rooms and the first floor were nice. The rooms on the ground floor (left of the bar) were very...

We were staying at this hotel only for 1 complimentary night, guests for a friend's wedding. We had to wait for the rooms to be made (1 quad + 1 single), although the time was after 14.00, normal check-in hours. When they were ready, we discover that there were no towels! We spend 1 hour at the pool and then had to wait for another 10' for the towels. We made some changes within the room in order to accommodate 2 adults and 3 young children. Baby cot was not available even in a 3 days note, so we had to carry ours. Both rooms were full of hairs line never cleaned before. While arranging the existing beds, we discover a abandoned towel underneath, full of hairs!!! A couple of friends in another room were describing an erotic night of another couple in a room nearby....Lunch was poor to average with only 3 different main courses offered, salad wasn't tasteful at all and the whole story was a bit over priced. The staff couldn't issue different bills for the lunch in a 10 persons table and after announcing the prices, they proposed one payment and the settlement to take place among us! Breakfast was buffet, but average as coffee was awful! Some of the staff or the management team were a bit rude as instead of welcoming us upon arrival, they only warned us not to leave out car at the arrival area (wanting only to unload our luggage and then park at the parking area). Concluding, I wouldn't mind staying at a rather 2 star old hotel as I was offered a clean room! This hotel seems to be far from the Greek hospitality and it's a shame that exists in a such touristic area.

Room Tip: At this time and only if you have to stay at this particular hotel, you may choose a room only from...

We stayed in this hotel during the 2012 Lightning of the Olympic Torch Ceremony and despite the high volume of visitors in Arxaia Olympia, we got a very good deal in this hotel. For 60€ bed and breakfasst, I can say that we were content with the hotel.
The rooms are spacious but no frills. Bathroom too are ok. Isolation however is not great, and one can here everything from the neighbour's tv to doors opening and closing. But that said, we were able to have a good night's sleep despite the hotel being full with the upcoming event and a huge event being hosted on that night.
Breakfast was nice and we were also very happy with customer service. They helped us park our car right outside the hotel, despite the number of cars, security and police that was around that night due to the personalities attending the gala event.
To reach the village centre you do need to use a car. That is not a problem though, as you can always find somewhere to park it.
Would stay there again, in passing, looking for a place to have a decent night's sleep, not looking though for a romantic getaway.

Room Tip: If you are a non smoker, as for a non smoking room at check in.

stay here in august 2012 for 2nights,
only one other couple staying at the the time a bit strange for such a large hotel,
we was given a big sparse room which was cold looking not even a picture on the wall,
bed was rubbish (thats the only word i can think of to describe it) ,
spare pillows in the wardrobe had been used (ugg),
aircon did not work properly,
balcony was directly in line with a old persons house (there parents i think) their balcony was about 10 feet from ours, eye to eye, i had to say hello to them every time they was on their balcony it was that close, so it was to uncomfortable to use or to even leave the curtains open,
Anything you ask the young reception girl she says yes but does not do it ie asked for a key to a safe, asked for clean pillows, etc.....nothing! had to ask someone else in the end,
At the end of our stay we was told catagorically that we had to pay eventhough we had already paid through Agoda, they told us, No they dont have a prepay system and everybody has to pay at the desk, we told them to look at the voucher we gave them which they lost! this went on for 15 minutes,
then just as they were getting a bit annoyed at us they found it and said ahhh Agoda why didnt you say, i said we did several times,!
so i think i know why this place was so empty!

Room Tip: if you want a good room , go elsewhere !

We were so glad that we found the Olympic Village. We had been driving for many hours to reach Olympia, finding a hotel with a good swimming pool was wonderful. Our 3 children loved it. As did we! The room was comfortable and had a good sized bathroom. They added an extra bed to accommodate us all. Breakfast was good and the hotel was only a stones throw from the ancient site. Over all we were very happy.

We arrived to Olympia and were turning 20 minutes to find this hotel! Impossible to find even with GPS, no indication on the city boards! The receptionist not really friendly, all time on phone. We choose this hotel because of the swimming pool but was so dirty, that it was impossible to swim and at the and... noisy wedding party all the night-impossible to close eyes! No excuse from the personnel. When we check out, the receptionist was even not able to say thank you. The staff does not speak any foreign language...Poor breakfast, instead of orange juice was serving sort of oasis with a lot of water, impossible to drink...

I was there in mid-July for a seminar, stayed for 10 days

The hotel staff were very helpful and friendly, it's basically a family-run business, so it's a pretty relaxed atmosphere in the hotel

The rooms (I stayed in the second floor) were pretty basic, could have benefited from a renovation, reminded a 70s-80s room....Other than stylistic issues though, no problems....

The lobby on the other hand is quite nice and modern, with free computers for public access

The hotel itself is very close to the town (5-minute walk) and in a quiet part overlooking the hills

Finally, the food was not perfect, but it was what I expected from a three-star hotel

In general, the overall impression was good, I don't know if I would recommend it or not, I would certainly not discourage someone from going there

Room Tip: I'm not sure but I think that the first floor rooms were renovated. I would give them a try
